Day 133

by rawkaren on 31 Dec 2013, 16:08

Day two of trying out Fast-5. That is: eating only within a five hour window. It should not be that hard really, as the last few months have been between a 7 and 8 hr window for most of the time. It's a way of enjoying my hols without worrying about when to fast and what the cal count is.

We have been shopping in Palma today as I wanted to buy my friend Paty something. She is a petite Columbian with striking dark features. I found a beautiful chunky red, black and gold necklace in Bimba & Lola. It has 3 giant ladybirds on it. I know she will love it as a)she loves anything red and b)is a sucker for statement jewellery. And this is something of a statement! Trust me it looks better than it sounds. I also spotted a navy sleeveless blazer which I nabbed for myself. 40% off in the sale. Bargain. Don't mind if I do :like:

Lunch at Marc Fosh, a fave place of ours. 21 euros each for a 3 course meal of great quality except neither of us wanted the third course:

Beet root soup with creme fraiche and rabbit loin
Salmon fillet with leeks and tomatoes
Glass of Chardonnay.
Coffee

OH had quinoa, feta and hummus salad followed by duck confit with pumpkin risotto.

Well that was consumed a few hours ago so the eating window is now closed again. I doubt we will bother with anything tonight as we are not ones for NYE. Besides I really enjoyed just sipping water last night
