Day 145, Fast 46

by rawkaren on 12 Jan 2014, 08:27

Today is a fast day. The last three weeks have seen only one fast each week, so I really do want to go back to 4:3 this week (Sunday's are day one for me). One week of grains and a little sugar (last night) after nearly 4 months of not having it has really taken its toll on my system. I have dreadful rosacea and have patches of dry skin. The swollen fingers have still not gone down.

I'm wondering what to do today. I'm considering not eating at all and just drinking water, and dandelion tea but I don't know if I might be better eating some anti-inflammatory soup.

I'm feeling a bit low about it, but I suppose I just need to buckle up and get on with it. Whilst I have become a lifelong faster, the no grain/sugar thing I have been doing simultaneously has been a massive eye opener for me.
