Nudging towards first milestones

by rawkaren on 14 Dec 2013, 12:12

I'm 2.5lb's away from my Christmas target (which I don't think I will make). I'm 6.5lb's away from my interim goal, which according to the progress tracker, will be 8 Feb.

This weeks loss was half a pound even though I did three fasts, but no exercise to speak of. However I normally gain or maintain when I'm travelling away from home as its hard to keep an eye on TDEE, so I'm pretty pleased with this on one level. However on another I'm a bit disappointed, as my summer chino's (pulled on this morning without even undoing the zipper and top button), are now hanging off me and no longer suitable to wear as I have 'builders bottom'.  I have also liberated a few more pairs of jeans from the back of the wardrobe. One pair are a UK 8

I stuck to protein and fat mostly whilst I was away, with only one sourdough attack one night in the restaurant with a couple of glasses of wine. I ate more protein than normal to make sure I didn't get hungry. So omelettes every morning at the hotel. (full not whites). I did a fair bit of people watching over breakfast to see what people ate. Might be just my imagination but it was the overweight ones loading up on cereals (the smell of which made me gag), waffles, pancakes, muffins, pastries and fruit). Those who were of average/slim size were eating oatmeal, fruit and protein. Interesting.

Yesterday's calories 345

Carbs 11% 9g
Fat 70% 27g
Protein 19% 16g

All my data is through from my physical so I will do a write up on it on Monday. In the meantime, if anyone can help translate my slightly unusual cholesterol numbers, I have also posted it here. benefits-side-effects-f28/topic2330.html. Thank you.
