GOOGLE CONFUSED

by susbut65 on 05 Feb 2014, 21:12

 Now I am confused.... Despite being a bit of a computer/techno phobic everyone says JUST GOOGLE IT :dazed: So tonight I've searched my TDEE my BMI and my Ideal/Healthy weight range and  :dazed:  if I go by NHS CHOICES I can be anything from Anorexic back to unhappy size 14 with a healthy BMI RANGE of 18.5 - 25.0 52.2kg(8st 3lb) to 70.8kg(11st 2lb)

On FREEDIETING.com My weight range should be within 59kg and 61kg (9st 4lb and 9st 8lb)

Shortly after the birth of my son(21 years ago)I foolishly went on a crash diet restricting my calories to approx 800/day.Can't remember start weight but in less than 4months dropped to 10st 3lbs and a size 12 but looked boney, gaunt and sallow skinned (it was Mum that said I looked anorexic) :?: so I guess I will probably ignore both weight ranges - continue with my new food wol and see if I can get down to 9st 8lb (61kg) providing I don't get too skinny (Mum will soon let me know  )

Freedieting also recommends for me Maintenance 1544cals/day
Fat loss 1235cals/day and 1126/day for Extreme loss  So why on my feast days am I satisfied on 1000-1200  Is it time for me to stop weighing food and stop keeping calorie count on feast days? and should I consider only fasting 1 day a week. I've only been doing 5:2 since Oct and am now in clothes 10/12 and weigh 10st 3 :?: ANY THOUGHTS ANYONE

Hi. Don't know your age and height but I have found that the TDEE calc on this site is the most reliable. You can access it via the progress tracker. I think its personal choice what BMI you want to achieve. For me, I'm just taking it a step at a time and see how I feel about it when I hit a new BMI no. Good luck.
