Day 10 Feed Day ( 6th Nov 15)

Weight 9st 7.25

So my weight stayed the same wooop. I found yesterday harder to stick to the TDEE and was kind of hungry but then I made sure that my cals were low for main meals. I was working at home yesterday so at least I had time to plan. I also discovered my new obsession - cauliflower rice. mmmmmmmmmmmmm

Bfast: eggs and beans (210)
lunch: frozen veg boiled, cauliflower rice and soysauce
snack strawberries and 2 choc rice cakes, 1/2bag snax (206)
Dinner: homemade thai chicken curry and red wine cauliflower rice(500)

I wasn't hungry by the end of the night although I did feel my wine a bit more. My cals came in at 1022. I in fact had aimed for 1200 but I'll take lower naturally. Carbs on the high side of 76 but that was due to the rice cakes. If I substitute with fruit it won't be any better but I'm really focusing on calorie control and reducing my appetite at the moment.

So my epiphany yesterday is to stop eating food like rice cakes with no nutrition and introduce a bit of fruit. Today is my half fast day. I was supposed to be on my own tonigh as OH is on a night out. Therefore I had all my food planned and would come in around 800 cals. However, his night out is cancelled so he wants me and our son to use his hotel room anyway and the 3 of us have a night away. I've been good all day so far, Ive had 2 boiled eggs and just had frozen veg for lunch with soysauce. Dinner in he hotel will much more calorific. Just looking at the menu in the hotel and nothing very nice. The salads don't look great. Steamed salmon is on the menu - how unexciting :-( I hate times like this as there is just nothing appealing and yet its a treat. If it was a once off treat that would be one thing but I have a number of trips between now and December. There is a foccacia and halloumi cheese melt on the menu which sounds divine. There is a crispy goats cheese starter. That would be small so could get that but it is calorie heavy. Maybe I should just give up and take the night off. sigh dunno what to do. Maybe we won't be able to get a dog siter
