There were four people fasting at the class last night. They only issue I found was that my energy levels were significantly lower, it's difficult to say whether I would have worked harder but either way it felt great!!

Happy happy happy!

....I've just woken up to a winy and wet Thursday, safe in the knowledge that my fasting is done for the week. I fasted Monday and Wednesday. Monday was OK, Wednesday was tougher, but I got through it. I also did HIIT and weight training on my fast days and am glad I can enjoy the rest of the week. Strange how appealing a simply bowl of cereal and sandwich is! I had vaguely planned to add in Friday as a fast day, but I don't think I will.

Weighed myself this morning and I'm another 2lb down, with an inch off my tummy, so this does appear to be working. I am glad as I'm not feeling 100% today. I'm tired with aching muscles (as a result of the gym). No walk for the dog today (not with me anyway!).

I am going to enjoy a leisurely morning, with a long hot shower before work.

Onwards and upwards.

Afternoon everyone, glad to hear the sun is shining somewhere, just wish it was here  Worked a night shift last night and got stuck in snow on a hill trying to get home at 6am. A very kind gentleman came out of nowhere with a shovel and helped me get up the hill :victory: Had a sleep now and have lit the log burner so nice and cosy now. Glad its not a fast day so i'm off now for a big bowl of tomato soup

I started fasting on the 20th September, after hearing from a colleague who is doing it too. I've tried multiple diets but never full stuck to them as planning meals isn't my thing.

I started out weighing 11.8st with a BMI of 27.9 = OVERWEIGHT! I hate being like this .My partner, Matt, loves me this way, but I don't...I feel fat and unattractive, I don't want to be super skinny but health and fit.

I started my first day of fasting and it was terrible. I started with 120 calories for breakfast, no lunch and then stupidly went and did the food shopping. I got home and passed out - instantly Matt made me have 4 chocolate bars and dinner to get my blood sugar back up (he's a paramedic). He told me I was banned from every doing it again.

Never mind him! I tried it again the following Monday - 3 litres of water kept the headache away, breakfast and dinner, but I felt really hungry during the day. After reading some information online and Dr MM's book, i tried not having breakfast and fasting...
