Week Ten - or thereabouts. Nine stone thirteen pounds. At first this morning I was a bit disappointed with that but then I considered that when I got back from my holiday - ten days ago, I was Nine stone one and a half. That is two and a half pounds lost since my return. So, I am back on it.

Yesterday I went shopping for new clothes which was a bit extravagant considering I still have over a stone to loose but I was fed up with being so scruffy and it will make me feel better. I have had my face done and feel that I am gaining control again. It is my birthday in two weeks - still no alcohol. I managed to get through a holiday, flights, sundowners etc without giving in and so must continue through my birthday. I will ask myself what it would add to the occasion, would it make it any better? would I be any happier just because I was ingesting poison? The answer is clearly no - in fact I would feel like a looser and would hate myself for giving in. And, most importantly, I am...

What I am about to describe about yesterday, is one that I really don't want to remember for the rest of my life. As all of you know who have read my previous blog entries, weekends are never a good time for me when it comes to weight loss and yesterday, that weekend curse has ended up striking yet again. Until yesterday, the week was going really well for me. I had cut down my carb intake by quite a bit, and reached my lowest ever weight on record (which was 11 stone 2 pounds) and that was just a couple of days ago.

From that, you would think that I would be a dead cert to remain below 11 and a half stone and achieve my final long term target at tomorrow's official weekly weigh-in, of recording a weight of less than 11 and a half stone on a Monday morning, especially as I would need to gain a lot of weight in a short period of time for that not to happen. I'm fasting today as I have had 3 day carb blow out (and probably the first binge in the last 90 days). I was expecting to feel ashamed of myself but strangely I'm not. I'm in the mode of "it's ok, just make sure you do three fasts this week".

I lost a pound last week - the first one in a whole month so I have probably undone all of the good work, so it's a good test for fasting as a WOE to see what happens when I next weigh in.

I have decided not to do the daily weigh in stuff any more. It dictates my mood for the day which is a complete waste of energy, and I was getting frustrated. I'm just going to go back to weekly (Saturday). Granted, I'm a bit scared to jump on the scales this morning and I'm sure that has something to do with it, but honestly, I'm none the wiser.

I last fasted on Thursday and did a 40 hour bulletproof coffee only fast as I did not eat again until Friday lunchtime. On the Friday morning, I had gained a bit on the scales, which is why I had only...

Well even with the debacle with the scales at the weekend it would seem I have lost, weight and inches which I am rally happy about!

Not as big loss this week but its something to keep me going tomorrow when its fast day again! Also the inches have made a massive difference to me, I am finally fitting in to some of my "tighter" clothing and I have purchased a lovely new fitted maxi dress to wear on holiday which looks nice! Not too lumpy and bumpy! I might wear that bikini after all!

I felt a little sluggish running on the track. My daughter though she could hear me dragging my feet? I'm still not buying it. Took 2 Ibuprofen to compensate for some tenderness in the right heel.

I got roped into restocking the pantry this evening. I could not resist eating a few sheets of dried seaweed.
