I last fasted on Thursday and I feel like there is a fair amount of repairing to do.

The Christmas mood has broken out early. Neighbour turned up with a tree yesterday. He was rewarded with a G&T, so we all had one which later turned into a spectacular display of boozelimia that evening, amounting to a 2234 calorie Sunday :curse: Well at least I counted everything.

Breakfast was scrambled egg on paleo sandwich bread. Lunch a small piece of cod loin with a home made pea veloute. This was an easy dish I picked up on holiday this year. Lemongrass is steeped in coconut milk (warmed) and then the infusion gets blended with garden peas. The consistency is slightly looser than a dip and it goes really well with the cod. I had a home made low carb cranberry muffin with a cup of tea afterward.

Today I've done about 300 cals worth of exercise dancing with Sofia and Stu (who really pulls off daddy dancing with all the grace of a porcupine!)

While dancing around it struck me that I am an odd bod for A. How I look, B. The music I like and C. My general self!

How the hell are they odd I hear you cry!! Well, point A, I dress rather conservatively, plain jeans and either a T-shirt or a shirt, so you'd think I like songs like pop, but that takes me on to point B, I listen to metal, industrial, punk, emo, etc etc, my fave bands consist of System Of A Down, Rammstien, Gemini Syndrome, Thousand Foot Krutch, to name but a few, so you would think that my taste in music means my attitude is the sort of "f**k off and die!" or "the world hates me" but nope, drawing onto point C, I am (as told by the man shape) A kind,...

I am back fasting. Today I had a boiled egg for breakfast and a very thin slice of bread with no butter on one half - soldiers and a scraping of marmalade on the other half and a black coffee. Call it 100 calories. Then at lunch time I had a packet of lentil soup - 26 calories according to the packet. Now I am making a big pot of minestrone soup, for dinner. It is 4 am and I am hungry. Notice the empty ache in my middle. Say hello to it. No need to fill it. When I have finished this blog I will bring in the washing and do some other jobs. Keep busy. Keep busy.

I have seen that there is a DODO challenge happening this month, people fasting every other day. It's only for a month and has been sold as 'try it for a month'. This suits me exactly. I don't want to commit to it for ever. But if I can do it for a month, and it's ok, I might even lose some more weight. My weight this morning was 72 or 3, which is up from 70kg before I had the break from fasting. Hopefully...
