It's been an odd day. I started decorating downstairs loo today (note to self - always mix sufficient paints together for the entire job!) but my hip hurt. I keep thinking it should be completely healed by now, surgery was a week ago now! I've had 7 pieces of whole nut, 1 praline, pork dinner, chicken sandwich, celery and half a large vanilla yoghurt and a grapefruit.
I've just checked today's cals and they only come to 1221. Not sure I'm eating enough :-/

My third fast day was awful. It involved headaches, massive hunger, no short-term memory and crying. In hind sight I think it might have had to do with my period starting two days later. Fasting seems to make my usual PMS:ing worse.

Good to know. /Nickis

Weight: 8st 12.5

Just ignoring the weight and thinking this time tomorrow I can eat properly. I've had a fair few weeks of having to do two fasts in a row and I really find it tough to be honest. Yesterday was ok - I would have kept fairly low except at about 4pm I felt really sick so I ate a biscuit and that put me well over. I was hungry nearly all of the day aswell:-( It looked like this in the end

Bfast: coffee
Lunch:count on us meal from M&S (215)
snack: homemade cookie (145)
Dinner: burger (190), slim pasta(8), goatsmilk yogurt(40), readymeal garlic butter veg from tesco (100)

Total was 694 cals with carbs of 41. Not the worst but I know I snuck some chocolate in there so I'm prob more 800 which isn't great. Anyway, its a tough week with travelling so I'll try not beat myself up too much. I also stood for 3 hours and went for a 30min jog.

So today its 10am and I'm already struggling - I'm pretty hungry. I'm going to do 3 meals today but very small and try keep to 600 cals....

Oh god I don't feel good AND I'm exhausted. I know straight away I will be bold today. YOu what I discover today - that I cannot blame my OH for my eating habits. We miss breaky at hotel and while I'm not hungry OH says he is. I suggest McDonals at 11am. We stuff our faces and then drive 5 hours home - trip from hell. Munched a few jellys. Arrive home and flake on couch. Jmousey talks and talks abbout takeaway, OH isn't sure what he wants. At 5pm, Jmousey takes battered prawns and fries out of freezer which we eat with gusto ( I eat most as he says they taste weird) with garlic mayo. ARound 6pm Jmousey asks has OH decided what he wants as takeaway and he replies, I thought that we had dinner. SHOCK. I am bad temepered - no takeaway fix on Sunday night. Immediately I go to kitchen and behave like a crazy person. Handfuls of cashew nuts, half tub of quark cheese....I realise that I view Sundays as a day to go nuts. If my OH doesn't want to - I feel hard done by. I try not...

Well, I am most definitely in the swing of 5:2 now. And I am happy to report 15 pounds of weight loss - woop woop! I do still find the odd fast day difficult but mostly enjoying them. One interesting thing I have noticed is that (until lunch time) I actually prefer being on a fast day when I'm at work as I don't get distracted by snacks.

Anyway, heres to the next 15 pounds :)
