So tomorrow is fast day number 2, hopefully have things under better control then!

Plan for the day is:

Breakfast: 1/2 glass of Slimfast

Interim between there and lunch is a grape/bluberry or 3

Lunch: 2 rice crackers and a thin layer of cucumber

more grapes or blueberries

Tea: Bolognase sauce (M&S count on us little tin) and roughly 50g of pasta,

I hope that keeps me in my 500 target, if not, dang it!

Anyone able to suggest alternates to things on my list in case i have gone over?!

Today consisted of, me and Sofia going to play group, telling her off for running into someone smaller than her and not apologizing, then a fun dash round asda to pick up a few things for tomorrow and get Sofias picture taken for a local photo competition taking place soon, she was so very well behaved and a right little poser! She's never like it at home though the darn thing! lol,

Will be on and off her tomorrow for much needed support (i should of stayed here my first day but a trip shopping...

For the approaching holidays and seasonal foods, I'm adopting a Rare/Social/Symbolic framework towards some foods/occasions and slotting it into:
I want to eat [X] because [Y].

E.g., I want to eat [my aunt's Christmas trifle] because [she's in her late 80s and increasingly frail and it's been part of our shared Christmas for most of my life and it's the only time of the year that I eat trifle].

I want to eat [my friend Robert's cantucci] because [I made them with him, sitting in his kitchen, while he told me stories].

I want to eat [Coventry God Cakes] because [my family prefers them to mince pies and it's our Christmas tradition and I'm going to bake them with some of our younger relatives so they learn how to do this].

In my head, this is less precious and pretentious than it reads. :o What that template won't encompass is eating holiday foods/Christmas cookies all day/every day.

Looking back now with 45 fasts under my belt. Been doing this for 6 and a bit months.

I am close now to being where I need to be, in years gone, being this close in weight proves futile and unmanageable, so with that, today fast 46 I am doing loose canon style, winging it to speak.

No real plan, but really would like to focus on doing one real fast on a Monday and keeping Thursday to perhaps 600-900 cals.
I was not really losing much or at all, but not gaining.

Will see if I gain, will only judge by clothing as the scales are my nemesis and can rule me, has in the past, but not anymore, have not stepped on in 2 months, I pick my battles.

People say I look great, my husband whistles at me, I dont want approval from the scales.

Besides, I am older now with this new weight and my skin is looser, I can afford to not be in a hurry for anything.

I dont even want to know my weight, so when I donate plasma again in a couple of weeks, I will ask them to shush, knowing really messes...

129 today,

My goal for Christmas is 124 so I had better get a move on if I,m going to get there in time.

I,m fasting 4-5 times per week just for the next two weeks.

Yesterday was a fast day 500 cals

Today I water fasted for 22 hours and then had 1000 cals. Fast started 7.30 pm.

I was waiting for my car to be fixed, so had a couple of hours to kill. I hadn't eaten anything so thought I might fast today and then do Friday as well. But got to boots and saw the sushi. I know it's not the best you can buy but I had to have it. Sat by the river munching and enjoying the sunshine. Love the flexibility of 5.2. And my son got a job today he's only 17 well done him. It's not what we would have wanted our son to be doing. It's in a meat packaging factory. I'm looking forward to the cut price beef and lamb! But he got it all by himself. So passed driving test and got a job within 4 weeks. Another reason not to fast today. Wine will be drunk :oops: tonight.
