Breakfast:
1 coffee black (no sugar)!
1 Quaker oats Original (188) cals

Only after heating the porridge did I wish I had chosen the Apple & Blueberry instead of Original. Roll on monastic life in the 15th century.

...I leave for my race.
Tomorrow finally I will fly to Pisa and then to Florence for my race on Saturday.
I am very excited because even if it will be very hard I look forward for a few days off the office and away. The only bad news is that it will rain for the whole day and I really don't like the idea of being for more than 12hrs running soaked wet, but at the end of the day it is just one more challenge to overcome.
I think I can say I have achived my goal of reaching 74kg by race day. It seems that I am now established in the low 74kg and this is ok for me. Once back and back into the 5:2 routine I will look to get into the 73kg and see to keep that weight.
That's all for now.
Wish me luck for Saturday.
Ciao, ciao,
Julius

I was at home alone for most of the day. I think this will be easier if I fast on my work days. I thought I'd feel tired or jittery but not at all. If anything I felt lighter in a way. I can definitely do this and work, it's not such a big deal and it will be easier to do with distractions.
That's what I've learned from today.
