My steps are soooo low, this sinus situation is really taking its toll on my desire to move. Hoping to get some really good sleep this weekend to knock it the rest of the way out.

Well, yes, I can say I am well pleased with this 5:2 way I have adjusted to my life. Just half a pound away from 10 pounds in 6 weeks. Heck, I was 273.2 on the 8th of April! That is 7 pounds in 2 weeks. And more of that this week than last! Of course I now have 4 "up days" in a row so that is going back up, but to me the weight that counts is the one after the second fast day, and that is the one I am going to take because I figure the gain is mostly water, and the losses...

My first 5:2 week! And I did it! Yesterday was a fast day and I did it!!

Had slim soup for lunch as normal, and chicken & vegs for dinner. Perfect.
Did not have a breakdown in the evening (but boyfriend said I was a bit grumpy and argumentative - however I didn't feel anxious or depressed so I guess I was just a bit hungry - completely normal!).

:like: I feel really proud of myself!

This weeks fasts weren't too difficult given my circumstances. Monday I was at work so it wasn't that bad, but yesterday being at home I thought it would be tough....However I was very wrong.

I've had a few NSV's this week:
1- Two people commented on my weight loss which made me feel amazing.
2- Yesterday I managed a whole day with only liquids until my evening meal.
3- My mother didn't give me a hard time yesterday or pester me at all to eat
4- Even though my weight has stayed the same this week, I don't feel sad/disappointed at all (for me this is a huge thing)

So, yes like I said I haven't lost any weight this week, but I also haven't GAINED any- which is great. I had hopes of losing something but seeing the scales say the same weight as last week didn't really seem to bother me any, I would normally beat myself up about it. I haven't taken any measurements today (I'm feeling lazy) but I really don't feel the compulsive need to measure myself or obsess over my weight. I know that I...

This is turning out to be a zero calorie 24 hours which I was not expecting to do. I have eaten nothing since yesterday lunchtime (social engagement), and don't have access to food for another 4 or 5 hours at least. Not in the slightest bit hungry.

Yesterday's calories estimated at 1146 (180 below TDEE)
Carbs 23% 56g
Fat 56% 65g
Protein 21% 51g

Breakfast bulletproof coffee. Lunch about a quarter cup of salted cashews, small steak, large salad with dressing and a glass of red wine.

GP's surgery just called. The hospital where I had my physical last week have picked up an unusual urine infection. Odd as no symptoms. They have prescribed me some antibiotics so will pick them up when I get home. Don't know any more. Very strange.
