Weight 8st 5lbs

wooohoooo I thought I wouldn't hit that this week as I thought I had overdone it too much since the marathon but the 3 fasts paid off along with 25g carbs a day. So yesterday started fine as the last fast day but ended up around 700 cals due to alcohol. Also, I ate first thing which I shouldn't have as it flicked the hunger switch. SO the day looked like this:

8am: 2 hardboiled eggs (140)

lunch: homemade mushroom soup (55), P2B Peanut butter (45)
6pm: 1 teasppon pest(25), cauliflower rice (25), red wine (250), gin (60), cauliflower pizza bread (135)

So I was around the 700 cals mark but if I hadn't had the eggs when I did I reckon I would be able to have kept around 500. My third fast of the week is always going to be hard so if I can keep to 700 I will be happy if I'm around 300 for the other 2. The only other thing is that during the night I woke up with a terrible pain/burning/roiling in my tummy. I've had this before when I have alcohol on a very empty stomach and...

I don't know if I should believe my scale or not, I varied almost 8 lbs over the last week. The high day was after driving all day and over hydrated - but 2 fast days seemed to have gotten me back on track.
Luckily Canada Day and the 4th of July are over, so less resturant eating (loving going to the US where I can get a burger cooked rare - has to be cooked to 160F here in Canada).
I haven't biked in the last few days, hope to get some good trips in this weekend and again next week. The trouble with the bike is I think I use it as an excuse to cut down on my walking.
My TRUE WEIGHT is 209.4 so held my own this last week.

Yesterday I did my fourth fast day. It gets easier each time. It also helps to do these on busy days--I've now settled on Tuesdays and Fridays because these are the days I am away from home for 10 and 12 hours, respectively. It is so liberating not having to think of what I'm going to eat, carrying tuppers or tins and plastic cutlery, looking for a place in my busy schedule to sit and eat. I do carry a small shaker with protein powder (not mixed) for just in case, but so far I haven't needed it. In the morning just my usual tea with coconut milk. When I get desperate I may have a piece of fruit at noon. Then a small normal meal, whatever the family are having but less, and skip the carbs, when I get home in the evening. For example, last night I came home to spaghetti and meatballs, but I only had the meatballs (soutzoukakia Smyrne style, to be precise). I cannot count the calories but I think I'm within the limit. On the non-fast days I have whatever the family are having (my...

Well the third day is upon me and it doesn't seem so daunting . A bit hungry already but going to drink some water to suppress it. A pt friend of mine once told me the brain cannot distinguish between thirst and hunger so always have a drink first if feeling hungry and it might work! My non fasting days this past few days have not been to good unfortunatley the devil biscuit inside me decided to rear his ugly head yesterday and to my shame throughout the day I devoured a fair few . These bad boys are definatly my down fall with my coffees :( going to stay on the weetabix method as per day 2 however on a 15 hour shift tonight from 6 so I will see how that goes! As I stopped eating at 10pm last night maybe I could start at 10pm tonight ( I'm telling myself).. But will try and go through to 9am Friday morning if I can when I finish my shift.this weekend is hoing to be tough have a retirement party on Saturday...

:frown: Yesterday I had to throw the away remaining toaster strudels. They were in my freezer. They called my name and I was having a rough enough time getting through the late morning.

My husband was working. I was bored, tired, and lonely. That is a definate recipe for over eating. Not looking forward to the weigh in tomorrow

Today is a fasting day and I'm thankful to have only one meal to navigate.
