Well, I've not really been thinking about my weight for some weeks, after having the removal of an ovarian cyst which had attached itself to my bowel , together with a full hysterectomy, but starting to consider things again today I decided to weigh myself, finding that I have lost a little. I had expected to have gained and to pull myself together if I decided that I wanted to stay below the original ten stones which I had set as my original goal.

I've decided that I will try for nine stones as my target weight, as that was what I weighed when I married for the first time. My waist was much smaller though and I think that it is unlikely that I'll ever achieve that. For the time being, to give me time to recover, I'll continue with taking it easy and I'll try to maintain until the New Year.

I'm very pleased and absolutely gobsmacked to discover that I'm still under ten stones, especially as I've had a few mochas and slices of chocolate cheesecake on recent trips out. I've still been...

I am feeling really cross with myself today. It is the day before weighday and the day after my second fast day so I thought I would step on the scales as I didn't want to wait til tomorrow! (It doesn't make any sense to me, so I don't expect it to to anyone else). I was really pleased last weighday as I had lost about 2 and a quarter pounds that week. Now, this week I seem to have put on about 2 pounds again :dazed: What IS going on? Why did I weigh myself on a Friday evening? Will it be the same tomorrow? I have been as good as normal so not sure what on earth is going on..... One thing I do know is that I am driving myself just a bit insane. Yes, it is definitely working, but it all seems to mean way too much. :frown:

SW 3/1/13 =274.8
CW= 267.2 up .2 after an up day
Calories = 1,707
Net Carbs = 133g/32%
Fat= 98g/53%
Protein= 61g/15%
Sleep =7:20 95% now that is what I am talking about!
Steps= 6784 geez! and that is with doing the treadmill!

Well, my calories ended up being a bit higher than my normal moderate day, but not as high as my TDEE (2200 lowest possible), so I can live with it. Today is my fast day.

Regarding my calories, it appears I have the best control when I do the yogurt snack as I walk in the door from work. It is 4oz of greek yogurt, 4 oz of frozen blueberries, 1T raw chopped walnuts, and a splash of stevia. I didn't do that yesterday, I did my avocado/bacon/walnut lunch, and I went out of control afterward. Not a binge, more of an eating frenzy. Not sure if it was because I could or because I missed the yogurt, so I will go back to doing the yogurt whether it is a fast or non-fast day.

Monday
-- Fast
-- Lazy day, no exercise

Tuesday
-- Feast, I really sort of pigged out on snacks in the afternoon and stuffed myself at dinner
-- weather was lousy so I used the treadmill. 700 calories in about 55 minutes
-- weight after exercise, 179.4, a loss of exactly 15 pounds.

Wednesday
-- Feast, but wasn't hungry in the morning, so skipped breakfast
-- weight before exercise, 179.4 (so my snacking and pigging out seem to be of little consequence)
-- walked for 3 hour 20 minutes, 10.6 miles, the GPS calculated about a 1000 calorie burn
-- weight after exercise, 176.8 (lost 2.6 pounds of water)...I think if I am careful I may not see the 180s again.
