So nothing new to report...Today is my first fasting day. I decited to get Chipotle..cause I figure it was the biggest bang for my 500 calorie buck...not too bad. Still felt a big hungry after..but once the obligatory 20 minutes passed..I was ok.

I dont forsee any issues today considering kiddo and I are getting our hair done...which takes about 4 hours since we have a boatload of hair.

I had a .3 loss this morning..should be interesting to see what tomorrow will bring.

ok so now I have been at this new concept now for 5 weeks an d I am really happy the outcomes. I will be booking in to get bloods checked in a few months- my cholesterol was high even on a statin so I am keen to see my HDL rise and LDL fall. Clothes are starting to be loose around the waist too. Looking for a ball gown to wear to the ball in august- what size will it be?

I've been wanting to write a blog on here for a while but I thought I'd wait until I'd been fasting for a couple of weeks before I started. I really wanted to check it was for me.

Here's how I've found the fast diet so far.

I found my first fast very easy. Almost no effort at all. I'd been in work all day and had to rush home and back out again so I barely had time to eat anyway. I was up against a lot of resistance from both my family and boyfriend but I felt really good for starting. The following two fasts I struggled with. I was coming down with a cold and the Monday fast was awful. I was in a terrible grump and really under the weather. I was also really dizzy and kept making mistakes. My Wednesday fast was okay but did seem a chore, I think because I was off work. I struggled with it but made it through the day.

My 2nd week began on the Friday where I ended up fasting all day, fine, but then ended up out for a surprise 1 year anniversary meal with my boyfriend. I ate less than...

At my weekly weigh-in this morning I dropped into the 'overweight' category with my BMI, and I am so pleased! After seven weeks of 5:2 I have shed 7.5 kg and I still feel it is effortless. My next small target is 2.5 kg away, then another 10 kg to a BMI of 25 which is my target for now. I have lost 10 cm off my waist so far and can now fit comfortably into a pair of jeans I last wore about a year ago, yay!

I had a real feast day on Sunday where I absolutely ate (and drank!) anything I fancied (those new Magnum ice creams are divine!), then fasted as usual on Monday and reined myself in a bit on Tuesday to get the weekly calorie average to around my TDEE, and it worked. I think I've said it before but this is the best diet ever!
