That's the sound of me drumming my fingers waiting for loo related stuff to be delivered.... could be a long day with no dog walk.

Anyway, morning to you and if you were Fasting yesterday I hope it went well. I had a good day fortified by a ready meal and cups of tea. I was hungry by the time I went to bed but as usual it had gone by the morning.

I am still having breakfast but I try to be better controlled with my calories. I have started the day today with a banana and a fat free yogurt. I'll have a piece of fruit mid morning and a lunch of crispbreads and low fat cheese spread (laughing cow blue, 25 cals per triangle).

Another bit of fruit in the afternoon and a decent dinner - already prepped and in the freezer - loin of pork cassoulet! I don't no how to spell cassoulet - Have a great day, I'm off to hang around in a useless fashion! Image...

Well, that's the third one down (near enough). Had planned on having something at 11.30ish, but I just wasnt hungry so waited to my worst time of day for temptation - 3pm - and had a diet coke and a slice of ham.

Cooked pizza and chips for the rest of the house and had cup a soup and a ham and cheese sandwich on nimble and 2 chips for myself.

Tired today, but going to bake some raspberry cupcakes now (may take a few to work tomorrow for teabreak, although I'm trying to cut out the teabreaks at work!!) and then off to the beach for a 40 minute walk (our beach isnt very long!)

I am very very bloated today, I presume that's from the weekend's over indulgence. Hopefully that goes away again tomorrow. Thinking of doing 3 fast days this week (Mon, Wed, Fri) to make up for the weekend, when I'm finding it easier may as well take advantage ... will see what the form is like on Wednesday! Otherwise it's Thursday for my next fast day.

Daughter and sil left an hour ago. They have been staying in our Gite for two weeks testing it out before paying guests arrive! A small snag list to deal with, nothing serious. The first paying guests do not arrive until Saturday week.
Bruno dog has been unwell the last couple of days. I think he was in the sun too much. Keeping him in today and feeding him lighter stuff. Have also put some milk in his water which he drinks lots of!
On the fasting front am planning usual three fasts next week and will eat normally in between. Thjnk this will suit me better. Am trying to reduce what I eat on feed days.
Have nearly finished the new fence so must away and get it done.

This long European winter and myself have been having an equally long battle. It really began in January with a niggling cold, that just persisted. It would disappear for a few days, but was always on the fringes. Well last Monday I awoke to a sore throat of some note. Not a great week to have one. I was to deliver a key address on Thursday in the morning. I wrapped myself in cotton wool, and gargled away the time.

Thursday morning came, and with my delivery made, WHAM ...Smackdown. The proverbial steam roller hit me. Today ( Tuesday) I will get out of bed. Weak, and sporting a cold sore the size of Manhattan.

The strange thing is, I have not changed off the 5:2. Actually I was worried that I was eating too little and upped my Kcal intake. I have no idea about whether you should eat more during a viral infection or not. I should go look this up.

Hello Blog. It doesn't seem so easy to do blogs on the new forum site. I don't know why, but I've certainly stopped. I haven't blogged since September. It is now mid November and Monday fast day for me. Still haven't lost any weight since last summer. Still it's nearly summer again so I live in hope. I have recently altered my fasting routine. I started off with 3 small meals a day. Then I went to miso soup in the early afternoon and dinner. Then I went nothing until dinner. Now I'm doing 'early dinner'. I found myself reaching out for biscuits and butter or nuts while I was cooking dinner and I think that compromised my 500 calories.In a short while I'm going to make a frittata with smoked salmon and capers and dill. Dill from the garden. Eggs from the chooks. That's all good. I'll prepare some potatoes for the OH but I won't have any. Lettuce salad perhaps, with dressing.

I have been making my christmas presents today. We pulled apart the object to see how it was made and the inside...
