Could I? Should I? Would I? Would'nt I? Did I? Didn't I?I DID - AND I ENJOYED not one but two delicious pancakes each with choc spread and freshly chopped strawberries, raspberries and apricot  How many cals :?: Did'nt dare to try to calculate :dazed: But then I had moved my fast day to Today and could always do an extra repair day if needed (COULD'NT I?) SCALES SAY 62.4  STILL GOING DOWN  How did everyone else do? By jove I think I've got it! 2 weeks in and I think I've cracked it! I am totally loving liquid fasting, I rarely feel hungry but just get a bit tetchy and slightly miserable early evening - I can live with that (not sure about my family but I'm fine! )
I still want to fit 3 fasts a week in but find liquid fasting harder at the weekend - life's about little pleasures like meeting friends for coffee and actually having a lovely milky coffee, a glass of Bailey's on a saturday night, a biccie on sunday afternoons. So, I'm nothing if not adaptable and have come up with my own personalisation; sunday 500 cal fast, tuesday and thursday liquid fast. How fabulous is this diet? I'm making rules that work for me without feeling like a naughty schoolgirl everytime I tweek the original ones. Those diet clubs I (and probably most of you) ploughed money into for years had better watch...

This is my second day fasting and so far, it hasn't been too bad! I ran some errands, mailed a package, and went to the grocery store. Now I'm in the process of making some vegan sausages. It's keeping me nice and busy... I tripled the recipe to make a huge batch, and it's going to take about 2 hours for them to finish steaming. Later, I want to make some more eggplant bacon and an egg white + veggie omelette. Yum!!

I was also hoping to make some miso soup, but none of the stores I've been to carry miso paste. Sad face! :frown: I may end up making a veggie chicken noodle soup with some celery, carrots, tofu, and a bouillon cube, and freeze the leftovers. Then for non-fasting days, I can heat it up, throw some noodles in there,...

Hi
i have been doing this diet for 4 weeks now and although i have lost 5lb which im very happy about i feel its taking a long time to come off :frown:

i have a high bmi so was hoping it would come off a little faster my husband has been doing the same diet and cheating and has lost a stone ! (he has been dieting a bit longer than me )

I started to weigh my self every day and note it down but i just kept going up each time so not a good idea for me so here is the plan: i weigh every Wednesday from now on i will NOT look at my scales until next Wednesday, i will change my fast day to Tuesday instead of Monday as then i only have one day in between my next fast day Thursday and im going to try really hard ,

i think im fed up due to having a broken foot for the last 4 weeks and only just found out (i just thought badly bruised .... that's another story ) and ear infection

sorry to moan i do...
