The fasting has been such a routine now that it is a part of my life. At the moment I am experiencing that on non-fast days I am not really hungry and I have to eat to get some food in me. It also means I am not so careful as what I do eat as I know the amount consumed will be under my TDEE. For example Thursday, it was a feast day so I could have eaten but I did not eat until 1230 and even that I was not hungry. I ate some stew and 2 very thin slices of sourdough bread with cheddar. The stew was mostly vegetables so calorie wise rather low. I then had a chunky kit kat as I was feeling sorry for myself. I was not hungry the whole day after that. I made myself eat dinner at 9pm as Friday is a half fast day and I don’t want to be starving. I want it to be a healthy way to lose weight and not starve myself to it.

I see myself at the critical phase as I am very close to my goal weight. I have 3,5kg to get there and I have already lost 6,6kg. It is a large number if I were to think about i...

My first three were not easy, but yesterday that thing happened that I've read so much about in the forums. I felt GOOD. Energetic, light and in a better mood than in à long time. No way this is'nt good for me. And the the feeling of wellness has continued today. Not even à meeting with my most difficult and dreaded project group put me off.

I have stayed the same and I am VERY pleased with that result. ...so I have started a blog to blow my own trumpet about the matter.
I have only done 4 fasts in the last month (2 in the last week). Mum and Dad were over and there have been lots of indulgences so all in all, I am very pleased to have stayed the same. In fact, I know that ordinarily I would have put on AT LEAST 2 kilos during such a visit so I consider this to be a successful month.
I am back in the routine now and hopefully the scales will being heading on down, once again :victory:

Hello,

My husband and I have recently started on the 5:2 regime ( I don't call it a diet). John lives away from home 4 days per week for work commitments. I usually cook his meals and after a 10-11 hour shift all he needs to do is warm them up in the microwave. He has coeliac disease so his meals need to be gluten free. Very hard to impossible to find ready made meals at the best of times let alone low calorie ones. Salads are great, but difficult to make in advance. Does anyone have any low calorie recipes for easy to reheat gluten free dinners? Thank you for your help
