Just want to make a quick post to say that I have reached that interim goal of getting to 55 kg! This is absolutely the fastest I have ever lost weight.. this WOE really works for me.

The last time I remember being at this weight was about 9 years ago when I was 25 years old. Haha, imagine that, I'm back to my 25 years old body!

Anyway, I made a post about this already in my blog, including progress pictures! Come visit if you're interested ;).

Meanwhile I'm just enjoying this happy feeling, and then move on to the Christmas club goal of getting to 54 kg. I am hopeful!

Thanks so much, ladies. I find this forum so supportive. I really have to make sure I keep it about the health benefits. My blood sugars are better this week than they have been in years! They are in the normal range. I have a doc appt. next week - I've been putting it off for months, and will use whatever bloodwork they do as my baseline as I've only been doing this less than a month. I need to keep the long vision in mind and not worry about the weight - in my heart of hearts, I'd love to lose 70 pounds (about 32kg), but if I make that my focus, I'll get discouraged. I'm finding I have to work through the fast days and not obsess on the eating days and keep reminding myself it's one more day down successfully. Is that paradoxical? To keep the long view in mind while being mindful one day at a time too?? :dazed:

Fast day for me today, I'm having some lovely plum ambrosia tea and need to...

I'm on my 14 th week of this woe and I haven't lost any weight for four weeks now  I'm enjoying the diet and I am very strict on fast days and don't go above my calories on non fasting days. Help I want to lose another 10 lbs.

Where the heck does all this blooming rain come from? It leaves me in a difficult position, do I walk anyway and accept that no matter what I wear I will get soaked or do I put it off until tomorrow and get out of my "plan for the week"? I'll see how I feel after I tackle the school run

The Fast day went well and I didn't even have all available calories! So just a mug of tea for breakfast, then a huge portion of home made veg soup, everything weighed out and calculated - it came in at 250 cals. Then a yogurt and coffee. A hot chocolate for 40 cals at 8pm. We also did the walk.

I wish you all the best for today, I'm off to ask Gemma the collie what she thinks of the rain Image...

Although I counted my first fast day as day one of my diet, I'd actually weighed myself on the Saturday and used those stats for weighing in purposes, so this is my official 7 days later weigh in and I've lost 3 lbs. Absolutely delighted!

And that is with no exercise and no calorie counting on the non fasting days. Tickled pink with that!

Soooo much easier than WW or SW.

Could learn to live with this one I think!
