A slow start, well for me. Have still fed and watered chicks in brooder, fed and watered cats and dog. Fed, watered, counted and let out chickens and ducks. Gave rabbit his morning carrot and let him out and checked on my two broody ducks. Am. Ow enjoying my breakfast!
This morning I will take dog for a walk and hopefully finish shoveling the ten ton of gravel I have been battling to spread all week dodging rain. Then it will be a quick lunch, bacon baguette today before heading out for the afternoon. I will of course have to transform my look from builders mate to tourist as we are visiting a museum this afternoon. It is a bit of a drive and we will be with a group which will be great.
Home to collect eggs, put birds to bed and cook dinner.
A lovely day to look forward to.
Yesterday I ate too much, the usual cake and biscuit problem. I have to learn to control how much I eat. I know from experience it does not work to ban it. I love baking and I love the results so limits are definitely...

I'm back. Can't explain lapse of the past half-year, after getting on so well with this. Somehow I got out of the habit, but figured I'd been so re-trained that things would be fine and I would automatically maintain....

But no. Have clearly slipped back into old ways, and put on half a stone somewhere along the way. Very disappointing. Must also mess up the cumulative stats here something awful!!

So, with the discipline of reporting again, which I obviously need, hope to get back on track.

Today is my third fast day, yet again I feel I am clockwatching, I think if I was in work this would be easier but being at home with the kids means constantly being pestered for snacks etc. I really miss my milk filled coffees on fast days as they seemed to punctuate my day, I have three throughout and subtract the calories accordingly. I normally exercise to aid weight loss but again I find it difficult, I think it's the thought of pushing myself on an empty stomach but I will try today and see how I get on. For the record the 5lb i put on in transition I lost, along with an extra pound so progress is starting. I won't get my second weigh in until Thursday and I'm nervous and slightly excited about possible weight loss. I really really need to drink morewater on fast days, I know it is vital to metabolise the fat although that said it's no coffee replacement that's for sure!!

Just a quick nip in before I hit the road for school run and a hospital visit for MIL who is awaiting a new knee.

I'm fasting today after a nice weekend, over TDEE but not too bad and Mr LJ and I did manage a walk along the beach with Gemma the dog on Saturday. The wind nearly blew us away and we definately burnt off twice as many calories on the way back as we did on the way out - in case you are worrying about my virtuous performance we did have a Fish Supper after the walk - what's that you say? Did we only go to the beach so that we could go to that chip shop? How dare you....

Many thanks to Susbut65 for your kind comments, I've given a little reply on your blog.

Have a great day all :clover:

It makes me not eat at work. I eat when bored and stress at work.

It makes me deal with my food issues

It has thought me that I eat even though I am full but head still wants food

It trains me to stop eating when full as my tummy hurts when I over eat

With portion control, I can still eat my chocolate, ice cream and cake when I want to

I can fast and my husband has no idea what is going on as I still ‘eat’ in front of him

The look on peoples face at work when I say I am fasting

To be back to the body I remembered

To put on pants that has been too tight to wear a year ago

I have been eating more than I need to survive

It is ok to not eat up the food on my plate
