Last Thursday me and the computer couldn't get along and try as I might to post on the forum, nothing worked. I tried to write a blog and that didn't appear! Computers!

My Thursday fast was interesting because I was 'out' instead of 'at home'. I went to a Tapestry workshop and we had to bring lunch to share. I decided to skip breakfast, which I never do and to eat a small lunch and dinner. I took 41 Degrees South smoked salmon as my contribution and had some of that with some quinoa and vegetables, some cucumber and a fig for lunch. Prior to that when I was feeling ravenous, the host had brought out cheese and nibblies as people were arriving at the workshop at 11 am. I didn't like that! I suggested to her that we get the workshop happening straight away and stop for lunch later and this was supported by the people giving the workshop. Phew! Then in the afternoon I had to cope with cream lemon crisp biscuits put out on the table right in front of me. I coped. I just kept on stitching....

right, here i go, one day in, eating as normal. I have some trepidation for tomorrow,my first fast day, but I'm sure it'll be fine. I just don't want to run out of calories, so I must plan. Not got all the info yet, so am trying to find information on calories from the web, not as easy as it sounds, luckily most packets have ccalorific values, which helps for a few things, but not all fresh veg that you pick up, if it isn't packaged.

Wish me luck....

Weight 8st 5.75 after liquid fast

Well the scales have started the downward trend again. The lowest weight I've been on this diet is 8st 5 so really going to work hard til next week to try get down below 8st 5 - 8st 4.75 would do it. I'm ahead of my tracker. Now I've weighed myself early this week because did my liquid fast Mon & Wed ( writing this on thurs but liquid fast was yesterday). However, I think I'm going to go back to Mon & Thurs as I feel rotten today. I think doing 2 liquid fasts so close together maybe is too difficult when I'm only 3 weeks into liquid fasting and still find them tough - so back to Mon & Thurs next week. It also leaves a whole 4 days before my next fast which makes me very nervous so really need to be careful now today and tomorrow so that I can enjoy my weekend.

SO 2 other things- I'm still waiting for my dreaded time of the month which is wreaking havoc on my overall wellbeing - I'm achey, headachey, moody and can't sleep. Further, I seem to...

Well the results are: 28thMarch

Weight loss 3lbs. May not seem much but as I wrote earlier I have used most of this month to experiment etc, I am pleased but I will not weigh again till the end of April and will use this as the weight reading for the main board as folk are weighing 6th April.

So I signed up on 19th March and did two fast days with out any problem apart from the splitting headache. Then I had a few days away from home and it all went to pot when I came back home. My binge eating was back.
I need to keep away from supermarkets that specialise in cheap chocolate and biscuits.

It's 19th April, 1 month later and yesterday I did a fast day. Once again the splitting headache persisted all day. I think I need to really up my water intake, despite drinking herbal teas throughout the day, it isn't enough.

I'm going to do the next one tomorrow, Saturday, to build up the pattern as soon as possible.
