Good! Have filled in my food chart on fatsecret and am under my feed day calories. Or at least I will be when I have had dinner. I have planned four weeks of dinners staying within calorie allowance for both fast and feed days. I have also written shopping lists so I always have what I need. This is how I stayed on track with WW.
Today I have had no cake or biscuits or chocolate and I do not want them. Tomorrow it could be different but it is one day at a time for now. I know how quickly it can all go wrong!
Life continues to be hard but I just have to get on with it!

Weight: 8st 8.5

Ah well that was defo to be expected but I'll try be good today even though I have yet another social brunch engagement. The brunch was difficult as there was literally 3 options, fry, eggs benedict or eggs florentine - nothing else and it came with a tray of pastrys.

1pm: eggs benedict (600), mini croissant (100), bread (100), glass wine (125)
5pm: dinner: oven chips (400), half chicken breast ( 100)
530pm: cheese cake 100
Total: 1400

Not the worst day and I really wanted a chipper but I stopped myself. Breakfast was epic but didn't eat a huge dinner ( I wanted one but didn't like the garlic chicken kieve and barely ate half.

I give the day 8/10 for exercising my self control - it's the second time this week it has happened - definitely eating less and making better choices. HAven't listened to my weightloss hypnosis for a few days and need to get back to that though

HI. Never done 5.2 diet before, and never done a blog before.
This should be interesting.
1st of April was my first day of 5.2 my fast day. I actually thought I did really well.
2nd day felt lousy after 2 hours of having breakfast.I was hoping to go out for a good walk instead I went to bed for 90mins.
I am up now having lunch, I will try to walk before I start feeling bad again.
I am not sure if other people see this blog?

Yesterday was my first fast back on 5:2 and I am happy to report a 2lbs weight drop and 1.25 inches off my waist after it. I can only conclude that altering my method of eating for two weeks has successfully broken the plateau and I intend to carry on with 5:2 for now. Happy days!

I forgot to say in my other entry that I started the 5:2 diet reluctantly. I have like many others done EVERY diet on the planet and was at the stage in my life were I was bored and fed up with my yo yo dieting over the last 30 ish years. However my daughter was getting married in August 2013 so I started the diet in February. It's a good job I did as the weight loss was slower than I expected. However the thing that kept me going more than anything was my husband Simon. He suggested and started the diet with me. I am competitive and I couldn't let him lose weight and me stay the same. He lost it a lot quicker than me, 2 stone in 4 months. I was proud of him. But if I'm being honest I was also a bit peeved at his steady weight loss and how easy he found it .grrrrrrrr. Anyway he kept me motivated and I am still going thanks to him! He looks amazing and is now off his blood pressure tablets for the first time in five years . Amazing! So thank you my Hubby, for kicking my a** Lol
