I'm reasonably pleased with that, espcecially having read the thread regarding the average weight loss on this woe. At this rate I should theoretically be down to my target weight just in time for our holiday in Scotland in May. On my second fast day this week I saved all my calories for one meal in the evening. I never thought I would be able to do this, but it worked really well and may well do this on both fast days next week.

In addition as I'm doing the GNR this year (deferred from last year) I'll soon be embarking on a proper training plan for that. At the moment I'm doing 6-10 miles a week over 3 sessions on my treadmill, and may be one or two HIIT sessions on the t/m as well. I'm currently checking out training plans, and will probably start seriously in March....

we had another consecutive fast session this week because of organisational reasons- visitors went on monday and a new one coming tomorrow- we shall see tomorrow morning what weightloss we have!!!
It was not difficult at all as we were very busy with work, went food shopping today on an empty stomach and didnt go too wild at all- we stuck to our shopping list!!!
It was very hard though making a chestnut truffle cake for our visitor tomorrow and not licking the spoon......
it is soo good to notice changes in the way clothes fit- generally much better and looser and things just get easier- BRILLIANT!!!
FOUND ANOTHER MEAL FOR FAST DAYS- QUORN FILLETS IN BREADCRUMBS WITH GRUYERE CHEESE- VERY LOW IN CALS AND WITH A PILE OF VEG SHOULD JUST BE OK UNDER 500CALS!!!

Had a good day yesterday, everything went to plan but I did feel very hungry before going to bed. The thing about that is I've found that I can be starving, tummy rumbling, drooling over the dog's dinner BUT when I get up the next morning - not at all hungry. Then I would normally have breakfast, a cereal of some kind, and be starving again by 10.00am.

I have always been a big advocate of breakfast but fasting has shown me that I really do not need it and with this in mind I have decided to go without breakfast today and see how I get on without it. I'm walking the dog after the school run and I would really like to hang it out until lunchtime.

I've had a cup of tea so no different from a Fast day - I'll let you know if I'm found nibbling the grass at the side of the road!

Have a great day - I heard a Woodpecker yesterday could Spring be on it's way?

Second fast of the week done! Feels wrong that it was so easy. Yes I was hungry and yes I could have given up and eaten something but both days I lasted until our evening meal. This evening I know I went over on the calories but I am not bothered! I am taking small steps and the fact I have done two fasts is a big positive.
On the home front... Collected the lawn mower today all fixed but €100 lighter! Part of the front already cut. If rain holds off will finish it tomorrow. Had the nightly battle with juvenile chickens. The majority had gone into the barn as usual but three were missing....out in the bottom field with the cows. I spent a while throwing windfall apples at them but they ignored me. Then I rattled the corn tin which brought them closer but they would not come through the fence due to the cows standing in the way! So hubby togged up to prevent the mossies biting and did his 'allez'. Finally managed to get them all in the barn just as it became too dark to see! One boy and t...

This morning I did my last weigh in for 2013. I was disappointed to get a reading of 71.7kgs, my highest weight since Xmas. Then after showering I thought I'd do it again. 70.1kgs. Much better. Then for good measure I did it again: 69.7kgs!!!! My lowest weight yet! I've lost2 kilos within 10 minutes. I love this diet!!! I am itching to put my new weight into the progress tracker but I did make a resolve to add my weight whatever it is every Friday. So good to end the year on a new low! You might say I shouldn't trust the scales but I've decided to trust the lows and mistrust the highs.
