Following my 4th fast day yesterday I woke feeling not too hungry at all. I have found that on my feast days I tend not to eat large meals as I am filling up quickly. I'm also finding I'm conscious of eating good quality food too.
I haven't weighed myself this week yet but I know I'm feeling less bulky.
I'm loving this forum and hearing from all the people out there With sillier experiences. :clover:

thursday...6/27/13...work 6-245 reg

Exercise- not in the morning

AM... today is FAST day. I am ready. Got my cottage cheese, plum, two waters, v8 waiting at work, I need something else too like a veggie or I will not hold off until 5pm dinner time. I might just make dinner be something like wendys salad again. or a frozen diet meal.

I am not as freaked out about it as I was the first couple times. I know what works and what doesn't. Working re until 245pm will make it easier I think. At least for work. I need to buy some miso soup too for fast days.

I have 312 cals eaten today and have another 200 I an enjoy. I think I might have an egg.

I did pretty good all day. I felt less hungry but started to get famished nearer dinner.
First time I had dizziness so I had dinnr an hour early. I am thinking it could be from being tired too. Not much sleep in the past two days

I must have been hiding under a rock the past few months, i had not heard of this diet until yesterday and even then it was a flipent comment from someone on tv. I decided to start a calorie controlled diet yesterday but it wasnt until today that i found all the information on 5:2 style of eating. I have put on weight since having my daughter 2 years ago and need a way to get it off. I have tried exercising but i just cant stick with it, im hoping this style of eating will help me lose weight and provide a healthier life style. I have decided to fast on mondays and thursdays as this fits in with routine. Going to weigh myself twice a week probably friday and tuesday. I hope to see some reults after 2/3 weeks, know its going to be a long road to reach my target weight but hopefully this will help me get there.

Hi Everyone well I've done this blog twice before + it's gone into no mans land Don't Go There. Now I'm going to lose LBS.
Week 1 I lost 2 lbs Week I lost 3 lbs just finished Week 3 + lost 5 lbs !!!
Love this diet + finding it easy to do+ I've tried them ALL.
All my life I've eaten when it was time to hence I'm now Obese with a disgusting amount off weight to lose. I'm having 3fasts this weeks as last + enjoying every minute of it + walks on fast days helps.
So Many Thanks. Mimi + Dr M I think you may have saved my life.

Well lost another 600gms and so I have decided to try 5:2 this week and see if I lose the same again...I am very skeptical that I can with just 2x500 days but hey let's see...I was skeptical that I could eat like a porker and lose weight and I have. I will fast Mon/Thurs this week. Off to get veg now for my super-soup...or should I call it souper? I am having a lazy Sunday, just walked the beasts on the beach for an hour and I think we'll have another beach walk late this arvo at another beautiful beach. Sun is shining, I have cleaned the house - just need to tidy somewhat, shop and come back and cook some lunch & souper for tomorrow/other fast days. I think I'll cook from the River Cottage veg book I have just bought - marvellous looking recipes and I have so many herbs that look like dying so I should eat them.

I have only 2.6kg to get to goal weight - tho I may go a bit lower if I'm not looking too haggard. The really interesting thing is I am still so paranoid it won't work whilst...
