So I went on the scales this morning after my second fast. I 'gained' 300 grams from Tuesday but lost 1cm from my waist and thigh. I was like, ok, body is being silly. I know its hormonal as eventhough I am on the pill, I usually gain about 1kg of water weight right about this time and will totally rid of it by next week.

I am so close to my first goal and when I reach it, I will celebrate it by buying myself a bunch of miracle noodles. Those buggers really fill you up when eating it on fast days!

Dear body,

You may have won the battle but I will win the war!

Yours truly,
the head.

Second fast this week. Picture of today's fast day lunch below with recipe. My weight is down 1.6lb's on yesterday.

Yesterday's numbers
Calories 1459 - spot on - well, 4 cals over
Carbs 40% (117g - 2g over)
Fat 47% (52g - in range)
Protein 13% (40g - in range)

Yesterday's breakfast (at noon) was a small bulletproof coffee, small slice of sourdough plus butter.
Lunch came quickly afterward (2.00pm), after a tough yoga session. This was a two egg shakshouka, the tomato sauce being made from a whole tin of chopped tomatoes, onions, red pepper, smoked paprika, and cumin. Served up with a slice of paleo sandwich bread.
Supper was slim pasta with a mushroom sauce, two small glasses of malbec.
Snacks during the day were home-made kale chips and a slice of paleo banana bread.

Wow. Did I really eat all of that within 8 hours and stay within TDEE????

Exercise for the last two days has been hard. The yoga teacher had been attending some development of her own last week with a yogi and as...

My 3rd fast is nearly under my belt but today rather than hungry I've had a snackish day. All day I have wanted any food that is unhealthy for me, so in response I took to perusing the Hotel Chocolate website so that I could plan what lovely treat I can have in a few weeks time when I am next near enough to a store to make the purchase.
I'm actually glad my snackish day turned up on my fast day today or I may have resorted to eating the chocolate cake I made over the weekend and the southern fried chicken I had prepared for my 2 boys dinner tonight. As it is I have been ok telling myself that I will have something tomorrow and from previous dieting experience I know that the planned for tomorrow snacks will never be eaten (or at least not in the quantity that I can imagine!)

After getting to normal BMI, :rose: I thought I would take things a bit easier but still continue 5/2. Was really delighted  to have lost another 700g this week while eating cake 5 days a week.
Had home made white chocolate berry crumble cake with cream today for breakfast. - what a diet
