Well the third day is upon me and it doesn't seem so daunting . A bit hungry already but going to drink some water to suppress it. A pt friend of mine once told me the brain cannot distinguish between thirst and hunger so always have a drink first if feeling hungry and it might work! My non fasting days this past few days have not been to good unfortunatley the devil biscuit inside me decided to rear his ugly head yesterday and to my shame throughout the day I devoured a fair few . These bad boys are definatly my down fall with my coffees :( going to stay on the weetabix method as per day 2 however on a 15 hour shift tonight from 6 so I will see how that goes! As I stopped eating at 10pm last night maybe I could start at 10pm tonight ( I'm telling myself).. But will try and go through to 9am Friday morning if I can when I finish my shift.this weekend is hoing to be tough have a retirement party on Saturday...

A couple of times per month I have to leave the delights of sunny Worcestershire to visit our head office in Surrey and this typically involves an overnight stay.

Yesterday was one such occurrence.

I therefore had the dilemma of what to do about my second fast for this week, which is working out to be Thursdays. The options I played out were to go as normal and fast on Thursday but somehow try and work out how to get a 500/600 cal evening meal in and go for the usual cooked breakfast option this morning. Or, move the fast to today skipping out on the full English and having a usual low calorie evening meal once I got home.
I suppose there was a third option of missing out on the second repair day altogether but that very quickly dismissed as an option.

Going great!
Just had 6 baby plum tomatoes, 25g chicken breast and 25g baby leaf salad.
And a cup of tea on advice for a headache.
That's me up to 309 calories.

No cravings so far...

Never weed so much in my life. That'll be the water then lol.

Final report at bedtime

I was so pleased to jump on the scales this morning and see that another pound has hit the road - really really pleased - this way of life is really working for me, slowly but surely I am seeing the difference and enjoying not having to worry about what I eat or drink every day, just have to keep track on two days a week and this suits me - the fast days just happen normally and I look forward to them. I don't worry about what I eat the rest of the week but actually find that I don't think about food as I had in the past - some days I don't think about food at all. Going out tomorrow with friends and hubby for a Burns' Supper with haggis and whisky and the whole shebang - really looking forward to it without regret.
