Woke up this Thursday and decided to weight myself. 59.5 kg today. Starting at 61.7
I have now had 2 weeks of fasting with 5:2 and for me its the weekend that kills it, as I go out to dinner almost every night and that includes wine and champs. Hm….think I need to eye the fish on the menu this weekend and to stay on the lower side of drinks. I hope that will help me. 2 weeks from today is my date to be down to 57 kg. I hope I can make it. Looking forward to wearing my old clothes again...

Ok weekend, I am ready to be strong!

Had a wobbly week last week with trip to Brussels. But back on track now and weight stable. Yesterday however was a difficult fast day. I felt light-headed for the first time on a fast day and had egg on toast at 9am rather than hanging on until 11 as I usually do. Felt constantly hungry for rest of day. Had large salad at 5 with fish as protein. Felt better in the evening but still hungry. In the afternoon I felt slightly grumpy all the time and short tempered. I also didn't feel as 'sharp' as normal in my thinking.
I have been 5:2 fasting since beginning of January and yesterday was the worst fasting day yet. Hope it was a one-off and Thursday is a better day.

OK, as cliched as it may sound, today is the first day of the rest of my life (or so I hope). I'm not terribly overweight, in fact i'm only just over, but 10 years ago I had a figure women would kill for. Not being very self confident at the time I didn't realise the importance of looking after it and now it is gone and I'm damned if I am going to just say goodbye! Depression and a overpowering love of cheese have added inches to my waistline and not only for vanity and confidence but for my overall health I want to shed these inches. I have been researching the added health benefits of fasting and really think this is the way forward for me. I am quite excited at the prospect of being back in control. First fast day is tomorrow. Wish me luck as I wish to all of you
