wooohoooo I thought I wouldn't hit that this week as I thought I had overdone it too much since the marathon but the 3 fasts paid off along with 25g carbs a day. So yesterday started fine as the last fast day but ended up around 700 cals due to alcohol. Also, I ate first thing which I shouldn't have as it flicked the hunger switch. SO the day looked like this:

8am: 2 hardboiled eggs (140)

lunch: homemade mushroom soup (55), P2B Peanut butter (45)
6pm: 1 teasppon pest(25), cauliflower rice (25), red wine (250), gin (60), cauliflower pizza bread (135)

So I was around the 700 cals mark but if I hadn't had the eggs when I did I reckon I would be able to have kept around 500. My third fast of the week is always going to be hard so if I can keep to 700 I will be happy if I'm around 300 for the other 2. The only other thing is that during the night I woke up with a terrible pain/burning/roiling in my tummy. I've had this before when I have alcohol on a very empty stomach and...

Soo I worked every single day this last week and had to also pick up my
Parents and aunt from the airport on two seperate occasions. I've also been driving around to meet up with them when I can since I haven't had any time off. Whoo it's been crazy!!! I've barely had a chance to breathe and Thursday my ADF kinda went to poop. I ended up at about 800-1000 calories instead of 500. Friday I had a pretty regular up day and then I did two "semi-fasts" on satersay and Sunday to try to even things our. I had about 1000 calories on both days. The anxiety and stress I have been under this past week with all the working traveling and being sick has been overwhelming. But I'll cut myself
Some slack. It's a new week, it's an up day, and I have a free weekend to spend with my fiancé only 6 dad away! lol hopefully this week will seem like a breeze compared to last week. Things continuing well so far. Had my first proper fast day in ages yesterday, only having dinner (steak and veg, followed by some berries). May not have been as low as 500 cals, but it was a lot better than other recent fast days where I have eaten far more once the fast was broken. Also, it was a very active day - walked the dogs, pushed my 90kg dad in the wheelchair around a park, and later swam 50 lengths (2.5km).

Today I just had a hard boiled egg for brekkie, and my normal lunch of large salmon salad, with some walnuts, sultanas and quinoa. I also had one slice of a really nice bread, and an orange. After seeing a dietician last year, I have decided that grains will be part of my everyday diet. I will try to keep the processed carbs to a minimum, but I am not excluding them.

We went out for afternoon tea. The cake selection was amazing, but I was able to tell myself that I was not hungry, which I wasn't, and so avoided having to choose!! The black coffee was just fine. I have had...

The fast worked a treat. This morning I'm in ketosis - hooray! So no excuse not to stay low carb now. I did end up eating 426 calories yesterday as I did get hungry last night and ate a large boiled egg. So nutrient percentage wise it ended up as C18%/F50%/P32%.

So this morning I decided to prolong the fat burning by having a bulletproof coffee for breakfast. I have not had one for a couple of weeks. I dropped it once I fell off the low carb wagon as I did not want the combo of fat and sugar to cause weight gain. It felt like a lovely treat and I tried it with the nespresso capsule that has a hint of chocolate flavour to it, so it was nice and creamy.

Today I have bought food into work. It looks like this:
One young fresh coconut. I will eat the meat as well as the water.
WF Hawaiian pear and kale juice, unpasturised. Not sure about the cal and carb content of this as it doesn't say on the carton, so I have taken the nutritional content from something similar.
