I am going to stick Fast-5 for the foreseeable future as I am finding it quite easy and am losing weight more consistently, though not quicker than on 5:2.

My biggest downfall is pastry - I can smugly resist all other flour products!

I do find that the sensation of
full
is even stronger with this WOE than 5:2.

I'm turning 28 in August. I hope I'm "turning" less than 100 kilograms in September.
At 25 I got a job, still employed there. It's a great job, but it's an office job where I sit on my ass all day.
I was growing taller and taller since my high school and I topped at 193cm when I was 25 years old. Since then, I started to gain weight. Of course - lack of exercise, desk job, fast prepared food, etc. Since I wasn't growing anymore, that extra calories I've obtained with food were unnecessary and so my body decided to store them. Around my waist. Soon after I got a nice spare tire around my waist. Didn't look good.

But I was happy to see my classmates growing their own spare tires too :)

Last year, I've decided I will change my life style. I'm lucky I'm tall so being overweight doesn't look so bad on me.

I started jogging at first, but then I grew tired of snail running so I started running faster...

So I'm not really a blogger type of person but right now I need to do something. I've been fasting since the beginning of the year and all was going well until Autmun kicked in. Now I cant seem to stop sabotaging myself with naughties. I like baking and have for years but it's only recently this has become a major problem.

Before A.S. (Autumn Sabotage) began I could quite easily save treats until the weekend or just have a small amount of biccie/cake/flapjack. This situation is no more and I need to do something, as this plateau I've been on since July has now turned into a gradual gain and I'm not having it. So this is it. This is where I will be logging what I eat. I may also log exercise as at the moment I'm not doing any other than weekend alotmenting, but that's not enough.
First entry:
Saturday 22nd November 2014 - GOAL - to skip lunch, eat as late as possible and just have fruit until teatime. Normal tea followed...

Woke up this Thursday and decided to weight myself. 59.5 kg today. Starting at 61.7
I have now had 2 weeks of fasting with 5:2 and for me its the weekend that kills it, as I go out to dinner almost every night and that includes wine and champs. Hm….think I need to eye the fish on the menu this weekend and to stay on the lower side of drinks. I hope that will help me. 2 weeks from today is my date to be down to 57 kg. I hope I can make it. Looking forward to wearing my old clothes again...

Ok weekend, I am ready to be strong!

It's going well. The fast days test you but much easier as you get into it. I always have a clear broth for lunch, banana smoothie at breakfast and meat/chicken and steamed veges for dinner. Couple of lattes for snacks and its ok.
Using My Fitness Pal which I love. I'm trying to stick to 1200 cals on normal days but always have a great night on the weekend and blow the calories with a dinner out and wine. I can do this indefinitely I think. I've lost 2.9kgs so far. Expect to lose more over the weeks. Trying to exercise too. Even my family doing it now.
As long as you give yourself treats it can be done. Hang in there people.
As far as health benefits I think I may have less rhinitis, not sure yet, will keep you posted.
