Should be a fast day today but woke with a streaming cold and really wanted my breakfast. It is now three weeks since I have fasted and I know I will be starting from scratch when I finally get my head round it.
Following some communication with managers of sheltered housing it has become clear it will not suit dad. He would not be safe. I have also had an email from a care manager of social services including a wordy document about assessment. From what I understood dad should qualify for a social worker and their help housing him. I need to phone the manager to clarify things but could not face it today.
Have nearly finished the plaster boarding of the first Gite which makes me feel we are getting there. I have also unpacked several boxes and thrown out loads of stuff. OH finally agreed I can throw out all the car magazines. Joy!
I have thrown away all my weightwatchers stuff. I will take the cookery books to an English charity shop I know as no doubt someone will make use of them. I...

Before the 17th September 2012 I looked like this. Waist 108 cm, hips 110 cm
My vanity has prevented me from giving my real weight, (I had no scales) I logged 95kg, the last known weight I choose to remember. I have logged 107kg, but I did lose some of that - I swear it's true...

Just under the 500 calories yesterday with my main intake being a low calorie ready meal (chicken dinner) with extra peas and a fat free yoghurt. And of course my 2 litres of fizzy water :geek:

Managed to dodge the housework quite nicely and when Mr LJ came in from work he complimented me on all my hard work  I asked him what he thought was the best bet and he told me that "it all looks very nice" - I may tell him at some point that his observations were somewhat lacking....but not just yet maybe! ...

Oh deep joy...and all that! Lost 3lbs in Wk 4...bringing the total up to 19lbs lost in 4 weeks!!

I have never in all my forays into dieting, absolutely never, lost weight every week for 4 weeks! Mother Nature has always thrown a spanner in the works with some badly-timed bloating....resulting not only in despair when I find the results haven't matched the considerable effort....but that I have actually put weight on...grrrr!

A-maz-ing! That's all I can say. 3 more days to go of Week 5....and I'll be reporting back again....fingers all crossed for the Monday weigh-in.......

Thanks for dropping by!
