I know I already made a post about this very subject but I about fit to burst because I am so happy. Today while I was in the local supermarket getting my prescription filled for my painkillers I was perusing their clothes aisles and I came to the jean section- I have an absolute love of jeans! Lately all my jeans have been falling down and are super baggy on my waist (I guess that's what I get for losing 4" off my waist!) Anyway, I came across a pair of size 18 super skinny jeans- I have been wearing size 22 skinny jeans which are no longer skinny but very baggy lol, and my size 20 jeans are falling down also. I was a bit apprehensive about the new jeans because they looked quite small but I still put them in my basket. If they didn't fit, it would give me something to work towards and I would just have to put up with my drooping jeans next week. Well, I got home and eagerly tried them on, the whole time saying over and over "please fit, please fit, please fit" and to my...

......from my previous ramblings and 7 lbs lighter. Such a slow weight loss but I know what I eat on non-fast days (and the odd Toblerone bar has been purchased for someone else and then consumed by me in a moment of complete abandonment, before I’ve had a chance to give it to them – so hey ho I can’t complain). If I was concerned about speeding it up then I would have to be more vigorous and controlled on my ‘feast days’.

I really should try a bit harder to be honest, I would so like to get to my goal weight by Christmas (just in time for celebrations and putting some of it back on again !!!!) Maybe writing this will motivate me to try just that bit harder for a few months.

I’ve now done a few weeks of 36hour liquid only fasting – am amazed at how I can achieve them (though it is a struggle come 9pm and I start prowling the kitchen, along with my cats, looking for some supper). :starving: ...

I finally made OneDerLand. Finally. The Christmas Challenge was 200 lbs and I went under that. I haven't been this weight for over 21 years... since my daughter was born. That is a long time to hold on to post pregnancy weight. Lol
It is the fasting. If I gain (like I did in November... 7 lbs) I jump back on that fasting wagon and the weight falls off. I'm 51... this just doesn't happen naturally. It is the fasting that has changed me mentally and physically. 42 lbs gone... 30 more to go.

Ate almost 2000 calories yesterday and felt so full and bloated at the end of the day, however woke this morning to find that I hadn't put on any weight.

Sure does help when I sleep late! lol Reminds me of Tao Of Steve when he talked about being on the "sleep diet", "hey I lost 20lbs".. hah

So had lunch, a really tasty fillet of white fish, baked (90), and about 50 calories worth of asparagus on the side. Planning on lowfat greek yogurt for later, and probably a repeat of lunch for dinner. Feeling good tho!
