Pleased to say I am beginning to slowly lose. I have lost 9 pounds in 8 weeks which is great :clover: It's the plateau weeks where you have to stay positive about this WOE. Some fasting days (36 hour liquid fasting) are much easier than others. We get used to meals breaking up the day. I was at home yesterday and I do feel fasting is far easier when I am at work and more preoccupied.

Just a quick note to say that I fasted really well on Wednesday, eating just about 500 calories altogether. I did it "Fast-5" style where I didn't consume any calories until late afternoon and then ate within a five-hour window. It keep my calories well-controlled that way because I know that if I start I'll snowball quickly and pushing it off as long as possible usually works for me.

I was meant to fast on Sunday as well but unfortunately I've come down with a bout of strep throat over the weekend and that couple with work was just too much to handle, let alone keeping to my fasting plan, so I've decided to go for a Tuesday-Thursday fast this week. I'm already feeling much better this evening than I had yesterday and I'm hoping that I feel much more myself on Tuesday.

I love the flexibility of this plan! On other diets, there is no room for error! If this would have happened less than two weeks into a different plan, I might have just thrown in the towel and completely...

:razz: Easter challenge weigh in was quite a disappointment. 1st weigh in last week 64.1k then plateauxed all week and lost 0.2k (not even 1lb) Next morning reluctantly stepped on scales and :victory: YAY at last 63.7kg finally under 64k :grin: Must have been the threat of ADF/ADE (alternate day fast/exercise) As I'm not at work all next week with no special plans gonna make the threat a promise....Thurs I had worked 9-6 ZUMBA'd 6.30-7.30 and had only consumed 459cals Fast and exercise and I didn't keel over :lol: Can't wait to see if I can stick to it and what the results will be........

I am not a veg lady ( just ask my family and friends, they are still getting over the shock of my lack of chocolate intake). I bought a butternut Squash the other week and loved and this week I bought a Celeriac. Now to decide what to do with it?
