Today and yesterday were free days. I felt over full both days in the evening. I think I am eating past full because I know it is my "free" day and just making a pig of myself by overeating.
I need to stop eating when I feel full.
LOTS of breads, pasta CARBS. Need to get more veggies in me!
Tomorrow is a fast day.
My husband has joined in and has been doing great. Not sure what he lost so far but he needs to lose much more than me. He is doing the fast days on MOnday and THursday as well. Makes it easier.

When I wrote yesterday's blog entry, I was at a crossroads as to whether or not to take an extra fasting day yesterday in response to a massive increase in my weight as a result of some over-indulges on both Friday and Saturday. That saw my weight soar from 71.9kg on Friday morning, all the way up to 75.2kg yesterday morning.

With that, something had to be done but I was at a dilemma as to whether or not to throw in an extra fasting day, as I still had some of my mixed grill from the previous day which had to be used up yesterday. That was something which I was really looking forward to and indeed,...

Todays fast day was much easier.Probably because I forced myself to drink more. I set goals through the day to finish my bottle of water and then refill it.
I (stupidly) bought a trifle when I went shopping this evening to eat tomorrow as I haven't really eaten anything but fruit and veg for the last few weeks. It was only when I unpacked it at home that I read the calorific value!!!! 350 for just half the trifle!!!! I know I will want to eat all of it.....
My hunger pangs were less violent today and I didn't eat dinner until 8 after a quick snack of melon at 7. I did try not to have breakfast but was so grumpy by 10.30 I had to have something. I have been reading on this site that it might be the best plan to fast without food for as long as possible but I am not sure I can do this. I wanted to eat more this evening but am dead on 500 calories so I will have to be content with fluids. Sometimes I wish there was a food that had zero calories that I could eat lol.
I told one of my customers...

Well I've read 'The Fast Diet' book from cover to cover and have started my first ever blog! Yeah to me :like:
I'm Tracey from the NT in Australia. I have tried many diets over many years all to the same end, weight off, weight on, think yo yo and you've got it. I have been skirting around the 5:2 for awhile but have decided to jump in now. Usually I would read of an diet idea and start the next day, this time I'm doing the reading, checking the internet, stalking the forums :geek: and being more organised. I think this is the way for me as I know this diet will become my way of life.
I plan to start Tuesday with my first fast day, I know I can do it!
Stay tuned!
Tracey
