Cholesterol. More and mroe scientists agree that cholesterol is a defensive reaction of your body when eating processed foods (these foods suffer destruction procedures of vital substances such as hydrogenation, homogenizing, irradiation, cleaning). If your body is acidic, loaded with undigested waste than this may lead to inflammatory conditions and injuries - and cholesterol tries to correct such conditions. Cholesterol is basically a material produced by your body that is used to repair damage. Cholesterol is also an integral element of all cell membranes, including the brain, and is hence not our enemy, but a friendly element.

Excessive cholesterol is a consequence, and hence lowering cholesterol with statins is not a solution - it is necessary to eliminate the causes of excessive cholesterol.

How do statins work in the body? Medicinal statin disables the enzyme in the liver, which is necessary for the production of cholesterol. When certain active substances interfere with the operation...

How are you? I know that things are not going as well as you had hoped it will be. A year ago would you even think you would be where you are now? I don’t think so. All was bleak. Now things are going much better. Problems that you never thought would go away are fast being a thing of the past.

How about seeing the things that you have accomplished that you thought was impossible. A trip to Singapore and not gain weight and you ate/tasted everything that you remembered or wanted to eat. A feat my dear for you!

You have just gotten over walking pneumonia, a thing that you thought only other people get and not yourself. You overcame that and even started walking a lot. You are not a morning person but you have managed to walk before work on all the days you had planned to walk. Days where you plan for a long walk, you have done it, no matter how tired or bad the weather was.

How about housework? You have managed to keep everything manageable and even do more than usual. Decluttering y...

Breakfast - 249
Lunch -234
Dinner - 500 calories or so

Aerobic activities: 380
Resistance exercise: 250 or so
I felt a little sluggish running on the track. My daughter though she could hear me dragging my feet? I'm still not buying it. Took 2 Ibuprofen to compensate for some tenderness in the right heel.

I got roped into restocking the pantry this evening. I could not resist eating a few sheets of dried seaweed.

Weight: no data

Everything feels a bit out of control and it is to do with work and tiredness. I am just exhausted all the time that I feel so unmotivated. I don't particularly like chocolate yet I seem to be consoling myself by dunking chocolate biscuits in tea and eating sambos yet I want to do low carb. I feel like I have no control and no desire for control either. I'm not in the best form today. I'm going to do a spin class later and awalk dogs and see if exercise helps. I'm so tired that I'm having some dizzy spells.

My fast day Monday was not a fast day - around 1000 cals in the end due to going for tea and sambos after a removal. Yesterday wasn't a low carb day and ate bickies and chocolate. ABout 1500 cals. So today is a repair day. I intend to have coffee all day and a chai latte at lunch. I have lots of vegetables at home so wanted to do a vegetable stiry fry - quick and easy with fish and oyster sauce later before spinning. I'm just taking today one day at a time and trying...
