So have just finished my second week of ADF and my weight has fluctuated lots over the course of the week, but overall am pleased with 1.5lbs considering I lost so much last week. Suppose it's slow and steady from now on. I've decided to do 4:3 this week as I find it quite difficult to fast over the weekend so hopefully this won't have too much of a negative effect on weigh in next week......

I put on 300g. It seems so minimal and yet it feels huge. I cannot let this be the way things are going to go. I know very well why I put those little minkies on, toooooooo much food, tooo many bad food choices, tooo much wine.

So I need to rethink things and start working at this a little. I do like the idea of being free but I think this week I have been laughing at freedom and filling my poor body with utter rubbish. My tum hurts and I am feeling low, which is not good at all. I talked to hub and found it so bizarre that I was capable of eating continually, without hunger, on a feast day and yet I went so far as to spend my last fast day without taking a single calorie.

This week I am going to think about the food that goes in my mouth on my feast days and will only have snacks if my tum is actually grumbling. I will hopefully feel a lot more positive this time next week....

So as I was fasting on Monday, it dawned upon me that I wanted to read ‘The fast diet’. I have seen his horizon documentary which googled after reading the article on BBC. I am not new to fasting, I remember my breaking fast as a five year old (a training fast for 6 hours) and years later after leaving my home country to Europe a break from fasting. A few years back I stumbled upon Brad Pilon and his programme. Needless to say, I read it, liked it and have fasted on and off. The offs are usually due to being sick and other life drama that throws you under the bus.

So here I am, recovered a bout of walking pneumonia and in need to get my body back to where it was. My hair was falling like mad (finding out due to the illness) a slight bleh moment and missing the sun. I went for a long walk on Sunday I decided to fast on Monday. I also decided to get the book and read it within a few hours ( what can I say I am a fast reader) and will now fast 3 days a week. I have given myself 3 months to ...

It's been over a month sine my last weigh in and recording my stats. My charity bike ride has now taken place and we went back of the IF diet yesterday with my first fast day for over a month, have woken this morning after a good nights sleep and feeling chuffed with myself as coped yesterday better than I expected to. Also - weighed less than I expected to as when i got back from the ride I have put on a couple of kilos - eating nearly 3000 calories a day on the ride hadn't helped. Now down to 71.6kg - still some way to go but going in the right direction.

Roll on next week with 2 fast day!
