Well, it continues to go well. I have now lost half a stone. This week I have decided to do 3:4 as my holiday is only just over a week away and I wanted to make as much progress as possible. I was also reading the advice on here about weighing every day and then taking an average. Up to now I have been reluctant to do this as I think that if I am heavier one day it is too disappointing. Still, this week has been amazing so far - the weight has been steadily going down: this morning it was 9-3.75. I am hoping to get to 9-2 before the holiday. The good news is that I can now get into most of my safari trousers - some I will even need a belt with!

I was thinking about holidays - I am fortunate in that I do have quite a lot of them and often I do not enjoy them or am hugely stressed by them as I have nothing and I mean literally , nothing to wear as I have refused to buy bigger clothes whilst my weight kept on going up! Once I get to my target weight I will...

Another bad night so drained this morning and feeling very low. Normally it is a fast day for me but am not doing it today. I cannot get my head around it so best left. I am so tired of feeling miserable. There are more good days now but I still plummet with no warning.

So, 16 days in - heading in the right direction (albeit with a feasting blip over the weekend - weight didn't look too good on Monday morning. I'm now away with work for the week so won't be able to weigh myself until Friday morning and will have 2 more fasts under my belt by then so hopefully my weight will look better by then!

So actually finding fasting whilst working away easier than when I'm at home as I can't go and stuff my face in the kitchen! So much easier just to take myself to bed when I'm hungry in the evening. I am having to bring food with me for my fast days so I can control the calories so I'm eating some pretty odd stuff - lunch today was a tin of sainsburys BGY tuna mayo, a pre-packaged fruit pot and 4 cashew nuts. There's also a lot of thieving from breakfast buffets going on too (yoghurts, ryvitta you have been warned!!). I guess the issue is when I'm on a feast day when I'm away as often over eat unintentionally as there are limited healthy options (there's only so...

So, today has been my first fast day. I didn't eat anything until about 5pm (apart from coffee and water) and I had a chicken breast with carrots and new potatoes. Later on I had a boiled egg and a small amount of lettuce and onion.

I'm 5 ft 2 and 186 pounds, so decided that I'd better do something about it. I need to get healthier and lose some pounds, so after a bit of research I thought this would definately be worth a try.
I'm a bad midnight muncher so I think the real challange will be going to sleep hungry! I'll be so proud once I do though!

So, right now I am very hungry and running to the loo every 5 minutes because I am drinking so much water haha. I guess the first time is the hardest?

I love inspirational quotes so I may have to cover my house in them to keep me going. Anybody got any favourites they could share with me? :)
