Monday will be day 1. I will weigh every monday morning 9am. Fasting days will be Monday and Thursday . I have tried lots of things and my main problem is I give up easily. My partner proposed new years eve, and I will not book anything till I reach my target size, which is a 14. I'm currently a 22/24 . In March we are off to the the races and this year I want to look nice in a dress. My boys make things worth while every day. But I need to do something for me. Will come back Monday with start weight. X

Weight: 8st 6.75

The bloating is terrible. I'm bloated from my ulcer and TOTM. So my weight is going to be unachievable this week. I'm burpy and gassy so at least I know why. I am hoping that as a result I will still hit 8st 3 or 8st4lbs next Friday Morning. THere has to be off weeks and totm with bloating from an ulcer is of course going to affect these things. So I have to take that on the chin. I went to the Doctor in the end and she calmed me rihgt down from my panic about my ulcer. Told her all about my food and alcohol intake and lifestyle. I have a few changes to make. but I am happy to make them. This time last week, my ulcer began because I always have 2 glasses of wine on a Thurs but last week was a fast day so it hit my stomach like battery acid. Didn't drink at all obviously last night but I am happy to report that that didn't bother me. I enjoyed going for a run, playing with my dogs and watching a bit of TV and just relaxing WITHOUT alcohol. It wasn't difficult. I woke up...

Well I have been doing 5:2 for just over a week and I have lost nearly 8lbs! However the true weight app has me as losing about half this. (I originally was planning on only weighing myself once a week but after down loading the true weight app I have been weighing nearly every day to give the app data to work with)

I am starting to wonder if once I get to the weight I was before I had the contraceptive implant put in in Aug then I may start to slow down this weight loss?

When I started this new way of life I knew that my weight had gone up over the last few months and I do feel that this is down to having the implant in, although most likely it is the bigger appetite I seem to have had since it going in. I was however disgusted to realize that I had put on about a stone in weight since the summer. This meant that I had a lot more to lose than I was hoping.

Like I said at the begging of my blog I seem to be a good way to losing the extra stone that I have put on. I am pleased with...

Wow, found that loads easier than the first fast day. Wasnt hungry until lunchtime and just had some WW tuna on crackers. Gorgeous weather probably helped with that though! Did the BBQ for dinner but just had a burger (no bap) and salad. No alcohol today, but dont mind cause I can have it tomorrow. :grin:

Yesterday was a "normal day" and damn was it normal! I was OK till I opened the biscuit barrel at 11ish but it was downhill from there. I met Mrs Beachbum in town and we had sharing nachos for lunch and by then I'd got the taste for cheese so it was off to Asda for a build your own pizza for tea. Yeah, I blew it, I lost control, mea culpa, mea culpa, mea maxima culpa.

But ALL IS NOT LOST, three fasts in and another this morning, I decided to try on a pair of jeans I'd not even squeezed into a month ago and bugger me, I am sat here wearing them! OK, they are tight so a good reminder that I am still "chunky" but what an incentive!

Tonight is a quiz night so may be a bit tough but if I can stick to diet coke or better still, fizzy water and avoid the free snacks I may be OK.

I suppose the big decision will be around whether or not to eat anything for tea tonight - if I don't it will give me the leeway to have an "accident" at the quiz.
