4 pounds loss after 2 weeks which is fantastic for me as I usually lose a pound or so then put on half a pound on the second week of previous diets. Within this two weeks I have drank wine (a bottle) on a few occasions and have also eaten out a couple of times and had pudding! This is the easiest diet I have ever followed and I now look forward to fast days. The first few were difficult but now I am finding it much easier. I find it helps to save most of my 500 cals for the evening meal. 7 pounds to lose now then I will hit my target weight :o)

Yay !!!!!

This week I lost 2 lbs !!!!! :like:

I think doing the two days fast back to back seems to work better for me. I'm feeling quite hungry by the end of the second day but I can cope with that.

I also think that after 2 days of very small meals, it helps you to control your portion sizes more. I looked at my cereal this morning and thought - ' Ooh that seems like a lot !!'

I also did a fair bit of exercise for me. A 5 mile bike ride and a 6 mile walk. I'm also monitoring the calories on MFP on the 'non fast ' days as I think that helps as well. As we get older I don't believe we can just eat as we like on those days - well I can't anyway. But I can fit in a few treats so it's good for me.

Hoping that I lose at least a pound this week. 4 lbs lost so far!! ...

I have spent a long time telling myself no more dieting. Fasting was working well until life sabotaged my efforts. I went straight back to binge, starve, binge which is a constant problem for me. The weight piled on and I kept up telling myself it didn't matter. For a while I hid it under big shirts etc but am now at the point whete new clothes were needed. Something I can ill afford. I managed to get a few eBay things which has helped. I have recently bought quite a few size 16 long tops which thankfully are way too big but have been preparing for getting to that size. It has been a complete nightmare.
Last night I re installed MFP on my iPad. I have guessed my weight for now as cannot face the scales. For now I will log honestly all I eat. I have also put water back as had taken to drinking juice more. I know only I can do this but to be honest I am tired of always thinking about my dress size. I know it is important to get my weight down again but it takes so much energy that lately...

Lesley Kenton used to swear by the Apple Fast. I have not fasted since I got back to the UK so I have decided to do a back to back fast consisting of only apples. So to keep within the fasting rules - that is 4 apples a day for the next two days. My favourite is when they are baked with a little cinnamon. No sugar needed.

I'm having mild bikini panic. I realised last night it's only 10 weeks to my holiday and I'm going to be on a boat for most of the time in swimwear. I'm a UK size 10, but only 5'3. Not bad for my age, but high body fat percentage and wobbly. I'm not going to 'diet', but I'm going to make sure I do my fasting.
