Another success I am pleased to say. That is now two fasts whilst having family to stay so have proved to myself I can do this no matter what. It has not bothered me to see everyone around me eating and has not made me want to eat. I now need to stop myself over eating on feed days and then I know my weight will come off.
Took cat to vet again today, whilst there is no improvement in her blood count it has stabilized so hopefully the crisis is past. The vet thinks it will take a month for Suki to fully recover. She has to continue with the antibiotics, steroids and iron.
Next fast will be Thursday when our visitors will have gone along with all the unhealthy stuff they eat.

My fasting days are Monday and Thursday. Yesterday I felt kind of odd all day, and worse toward the evening. Not overly hungry although I ate well during the day, but kind of anxious or shaky in a way that is hard to describe. Last evening after work I was waiting for dinner to be ready, and I felt as if I had low blood sugar. I ate a few crackers and a slice of bread but it didn't really help. Even after eating a delicious bowl of curried quinoa and chicken soup it wasn't much better. I even had a bowl of gelato for dessert.
I ended up going to bed early just because I didn't like how I was feeling.

This morning I weighed myself, just out of curiosity, and I'm down 2 pounds after 6 days on this plan. I'll weigh again tomorrow because I'd like to record my weekly results. I'm impressed because I ate some "forbidden" (in my mind) foods this week such as samosas and cookies and even a lunch of burger and fries one day. Normally after eating stuff like that I woud be resigned...

I'm now right back where I started last August. Since January I have gained 6kg. All of the clothes I bought do not fit anymore and I'm thoroughly miserable about it. I did 3 fasts this week and gained 1.3kg in total. I have no clue anymore and going back to dieting for a while as this is as miserable as a 'diet' for me now.

On a Fast Day today just going to have milk in my coffee and a 300cal ready meal and salad. Sounds like a plan. with a few Tic Tacs if needed.

Exercise - Just completed a circuits class. :like: :smile:

In preparation for my 100 mile ride, set for August, I need to loose 5% of my weight. It should be doable.
