After my huge cock up that i discovered on Monday :cry: I am starting again today. determined to get this right.
Today i have eaten nothing until 12noon, i then had a weightwatchers lasagna with a whole bag of mixed salad leafs,and a table spoon of balsamic vinegar.

Hi everyone. I started 5:2 on 29th April and have lost 7.52lbs (according to tracker). went in to work this morning and the cleaning lady who I haven't seen since I started diet said I was looking really well and had lost a lot of weight. Made me feel really good as she is the first person to notice. Still have about 56 pounds to go! Fast days Tuesday and Friday.

I intend to use this blog to help keep myself on the straight and narrow, diet-wise by making myself accountable, even if it is just to a blog entry, and also to help NOT become a diet bore by putting my thoughts down here.

Just in case anyone else does read this, a bit of background.
I'm 32, married no children, working full-time in an opticians which I wouldn't call physically strenuous but I am on my feet quite a lot.

I have been overweight/obese for as long as I can remember but in denial for a lot of that time particularly during and after uni. In 2008 I joined Slimming World and was shocked to discover that although I thought I was 15stone, I was actually 16st 5lbs. Over a year I dropped to 13st 5lbs but then moved away and had to stop Slimming World as none in my new area.
Married 6 months later at approx 13st 8lbs and very chuffed to be in a size 16 not size 18 wedding dress.

Today I woke up very hungry and feeling really lean lol. I had a pb&j for breakfast with coffee (400) for lunch I had my favorite protein crunch bar (200) and three pretzel sticks (350) dinner was Panko
Crusted chicken(280) roasted broccoli and eggplant (150) rice (100) and sweet potato(200).i also had a side of soup (180)
Later on I had a bowl of yogurt and granola (400)
