So 3 fast days in and I'm down a pound! Not a huge achievement but ill be happy with slow and steady. I've found that in the past if I lost large amounts of weight quickly that tit piled back on quickly!

I'm doing fast days Sundays and Wednesdays as I struggle with concentration and my job is stressful enough without having to count calories.

Fingers crossed I keep moving forward. Roll on Sunday!

Today, Thursday is the second fast of this week, first one being Tuesday. Normally I do Monday and Thursday, but had to skip Monday as we had a celebration lunch to celebrate signing the contract on our new house. Well I was worried today might be hard and my goodness it is hard. It is only 1.15pm and my stomach has been complaining for two hours, and I am starting to feel a bit lightheaded and nauseous. Hence the "uh oh" title of this blog today. Am hoping that writing here on the blog might put my mind in a more positive frame. I won´t eat, but I will be feeling lousy until dinner time so might finish work and go home for a siesta, (well I do live in Spain!). Looking forward to the weekend as we have booked a nice hotel in Marbella right on the beach with the children. Yay! Back to today I just purchased a nice chicken and some cauliflower. I plan on mashing the cauliflower with a nice dash of salt and pepper and a couple of teaspoons of dijon mustard, very low calories, ...

So, today has been my first fast day. I didn't eat anything until about 5pm (apart from coffee and water) and I had a chicken breast with carrots and new potatoes. Later on I had a boiled egg and a small amount of lettuce and onion.

I'm 5 ft 2 and 186 pounds, so decided that I'd better do something about it. I need to get healthier and lose some pounds, so after a bit of research I thought this would definately be worth a try.
I'm a bad midnight muncher so I think the real challange will be going to sleep hungry! I'll be so proud once I do though!

So, right now I am very hungry and running to the loo every 5 minutes because I am drinking so much water haha. I guess the first time is the hardest?

I love inspirational quotes so I may have to cover my house in them to keep me going. Anybody got any favourites they could share with me? :)

Week 4 fast day 2. I bought a small tin of tuna and had it with salad for lunch plus a ww yoghurt =200 I also bought some rehydration tabs to try and avoid the headache but it is slightly present still. Tea was a bowl of porridge (300) before my running group again.

Feeling much slimmer, amazing what a difference 7 pounds makes. Yesterday at the gym I did some core work which I'm usually lazy about and today it hurts to laugh or cough! After the gym we went to town and stopped off for Carrot cake and coffee, this was always my nemesis. I did enjoy it, but it's so much easier knowing I can have that and it's still 'on the diet' the fast days go quickly and then it's eat plenty again. I searched #fastdiet on twitter and had to laugh at the girl who said the best thing about it was appreciating endless cups of tea on feast days!
