Oh boy! Where do I begin? Life plumetted over the Winter. Depression reared its head again and Insank into the black pit bingeing all rhe way. I have never been so out of control for so long. With the arrival of better weather I now feel strong enough to start again. I came very close to visiting the doc for medication but knew he would mention my weight so did not go.
That is now behind me and I have to regain control so today is a fast day. I have done a few fasts during the bad patch but been unable to maintain the momentum.
Well done all of you who have stuck with it.

2 weeks into the regime and cant believe how the time has gone. I have lost 4 lbs and 2 inches from my waist! All thi and still been out and had a drink. I am finding the fast days really good. They make me feel more energetic and less bloated. I know the process maybe slow, but if the outcome continues as it has started it will be worth it!! :like:

we had another consecutive fast session this week because of organisational reasons- visitors went on monday and a new one coming tomorrow- we shall see tomorrow morning what weightloss we have!!!
It was not difficult at all as we were very busy with work, went food shopping today on an empty stomach and didnt go too wild at all- we stuck to our shopping list!!!
It was very hard though making a chestnut truffle cake for our visitor tomorrow and not licking the spoon......
it is soo good to notice changes in the way clothes fit- generally much better and looser and things just get easier- BRILLIANT!!!
FOUND ANOTHER MEAL FOR FAST DAYS- QUORN FILLETS IN BREADCRUMBS WITH GRUYERE CHEESE- VERY LOW IN CALS AND WITH A PILE OF VEG SHOULD JUST BE OK UNDER 500CALS!!!

Weight: 8st 5.25
Waist: 26
tummy: 32.5
Thighs:21.2

2lbs of my interim goal if 8st 3. My average calorie count has been quite low due to my gastritis according to MYP - about 800 cals per day. And yet, I didn't hit 8st 4 or lower. Very disappointed - I knew I hadn't from my spare tyre. However, I think I'm going to have to start doing some pilates as it is clear my thighs are loosing - I've lost .8 of an inch off them and I can feel it in my clothes. So it may be that I need to tone the old tummy as the running probably doesn't do that. So I'm going to try do 30mins pilates Fri, Sat & Sun. Will get a walk in Sat & Sun so that will be lots of exercise.

I didn't exercise yesterday - needed to give my body a rest as I'm not sure that my tummy isn't bleeding. I'm trying to stay relaxed. It's my birthday today -31. I always think life gets better as you get older - it certainly has for me. But I suppose there are a few niggly things that I wish were different but no point in going...
