I did write a topic on this, but since posts can get lost in the multitude of topics on here, so thought I'd write it in a blog post too!

I was looking through my old posts and blogs last night and realized that I've not mentioned once a very large part of my life, in fact one of the most important parts of my life, I've not said once that I'm a type 1 Diabetic, rather vital part of my life really isn't it, and I've not even mentioned it in passing!

I feel bad for not having told anyone about it on here, but I didn't hide it on purpose, in fact I had thought I'd said about it, but apparently not! So, I'm going to start again!

Hello there, i'm Sarah, 25, from Essex, I'm married with a 2 (3 at the end of the month) year old daughter, I enjoy cooking, gardening, reading and playing games on the computer, PlayStation 4 and Nintendo 3DS, and I am an insulin dependent type one diabetic since birth,...

Week 3... This doesn't seem too difficult to fit into my routine, and honestly I don't find the fast days too difficult, so let's be patient and see what happens over the next 6 months

I haven't done as much exercise as I would have liked, so that's got to change over the coming weeks, but I have defiantly started eating less on my normal days... I've started with my graze boxes for lunch at work, so I fast on a Monday, have a light graze box on Tuesday, fast day Wednesday, and a regular box on Thursday.... Fridays I work from home so I eat whatever, if I remember!

At least doing it this way, I know I'm eating the right foods and can space them out as and when during the day  let's just hope it all adds up!

I now weigh 70.5 Kg and measure 96 cm around my waist.

Yesterday's fast day was easier than the previous ones which was a nice bonus.

Looking forward to a hearty healthy breakfast as I write this. :victory:

This week's weigh in shows -34 lbs in the four months I have fasted. Last week I gained one lb...weird. This week I lost a total of 6. I never dreamed my body would drop that much weight in one week this late in my fasting journey. I am getting used to the scale jumping up and down ...I think that is normal with fasting.
In the past I have cut calories DAILY to lose weight and struggled only to regain. This blessing of weight dropping off must have a lot to do with the 20-24 hour wait before I eat my 500 calories. Does it have something to do with the "repair" everyone talks about? I will continue to fast... thank God for the blessing... and try not to over analyze!

Feeling so positive today! Feeling in control and for once like I know where I am going - for the day at least... I hope that this positivity grows and branches off into other areas of my life :clover:
