I started off on this weightloss journey around Mar. 17, not fasting, but using the 17 day diet, which I'd successfully used to lose 30 lbs last year. I started to gain it all back as I went into stress mode eating during my mother's sad final illness which involved over 6 months of angst, worry, sleeplessness and bad eating. Then, after she passed away, I went into comfort eating mode mourning her. Over the holidays and after, I didn't deny myself anything and even binged occasionally, which is not normal for me. Weight just poured on, and I gained back about 25 of the 30lbs I'd lost, and very quickly. But... at least I recognized what was happening and now have found the will to take myself in hand.

By Mar. 30, I'd shed 10 pounds in 2 weeks !!! I knew that rate of loss wouldn't last, but wow... I hit the plateau wall big time. :frown: My...

Well the fifth week is nearly over, and I have the usual Monday and Wednesday fast's to look forward to. I have lost just over five pounds and do not seem to have too much difficulty with the fast days. I have fitted in an extra 16:8 day from Thursday to Friday as I was feeling a little bloated. I am determined to try and tackle the Sunday ''binge'' eating as a first step to improving the none fast days level of intake.

Weight up .8lb's overnight. Yeah of course it is....... Pah! What on earth is happening? I didn't count my calories yesterday as I made a complicated savory baklava with so many ingredients in it I couldn't be bothered to record it. (PM me if you want the recipe). It was lovely, but very filling (I only had a small portion), but washed down with half a bottle of champagne (belated birthday celebration). I have no idea if that is called a pig out, but in my book, and considering I didn't eat anything else all day, I don't think so.....
Off to the gym. Plyometrics this morning. Boy am I fed up. :pissedoff: :pissedoff: :pissedoff:

Goodness me. I have caved every day. I don't understand why. I'm not hungry. It must be stress eating or just can't get into the groove. MUST.FAST.TOMORROW.... and then Saturday or Sunday.

When I weighed myself yesterday morning, I was a bit concerned that I might have blown my attempts at getting to below 11 and a half stone at this morning's weigh-in as a result of some over-indulging on Saturday. I had only once before, lost weight on a feeding day, and that was a week ago when I was acting to get my weight down from 75.2kg. On that particular occasion, I lost 4 pounds which is in line with I would normally lose on a fasting day.

With my weight going up from 11 stone 2 pounds to 11 and a half stone in just a...
