I logged onto MFP tonight. It was 6th Jan since I last recorded my daily intake. I don't know if I'm going to be able to record properly as I have no weigh scales here. Today however I did have all of the numbers. Total 601 calories (so over the 500), but better than nothing. 87g of carbs:

Breakfast - Bulletproof coffee
Lunch - Evolution Fresh Super Greens pressed juice
Snack - Large banana

My step count over the last three days has dropped right back down now I'm back in an office environment but I don't have time to do exercise during the week at the moment as I'm out of the house for 12 hours and get home pretty tired. However one step at a time.

Good news on jeans. I was interested to know how I'm doing by clothes size last night as I don't have any other form of checking. I have a pair of white cropped jeans that I bought with me. US size 2, but they are generous, so say a UK 8. Well they fit. A little tight around the rear, but certainly on the list to wear when the...

Hi all I started this new way of eating (I will refrain from saying diet as I am sick of failing on so-called diets,) on Monday. I am hoping this will be the start of a new way of life. Seems perfect!

It is day 2 of fasting and to be honest, I am surprised how easy I am finding it. Filling up on lots of hot drinks (tea I understand is 10 cals with semi-skimmed milk) my stomache is rumbling now as I write yet I am not actually hungry, infact I feel good!

I am looking for some inspiration to do with the 5/2, and look forward to reading everyone's blog and progress along the way.
I will be weighing every Monday. I have logged onto the progress tracker here and will check back regularly.

Good luck everyone :clover:

I watched the documentary months ago, thought that it sounded great....& promptly carried on with my very unhealthy comfort-eating habits. My dress size went up & up, jeans were torture to sit in, my self-esteem was lower than ever....& then I went Xmas shopping! Found myself in bookshop, eyeballing a 5 2 diet book.....bought it & resolved to start the following Monday (for some reason best known to myself, I always wait for a Monday to roll round, ha ha!). I already knew how I was going to tackle the fasting days....using a Waitrose fresh soup as my weapon of choice. Unbelievably, one and a half tubs of this soup is 438 calories, so I have been having half a tub around noon on fasting days, then a whole tub at about 6pm. The remaining calories (62) I spend on milk for my cuppas! In between I drink water & fruit teas. The most amazing thing about this soup is that it gives me 6 of my 5 a day - how about that??? I think that is incredible......

The first fast was a bit...
