My 3:4 week begins and ends on a Monday. It has to be this way to enable me to commit but I feel it is unfortunate that weigh day is Monday morning, not only after two Feast days but after two weekend Feast Days.

Very proud of my control and management of Monday to Friday. Could have eaten better and healthier on Wednesday (Feast day) but got through the week. And then the weekend started....

Being a yoyo dieter I of course have a list of excuses. It was freezing cold. I was exhausted. I didn't sleep enough. I was working most of the weekend in a difficult environment. I couldn't drink enough due to working. I had planned a healthy lunch Saturday but it was so cold it just wasn't going to happen. Blah blah blah.

The result was that I felt I ate too much of the wrong foods, and not enough of the right foods.

My aim was to limit carbs - on Saturday I did OK although I had carbs at every meal but did control the portion. On Sunday I did...

Well today I am committing to trying this after many failed diets some massive health issues ( now good but piled on the pounds ) . I have been eating healthily most of my life and from January cut out meat 90% all dairy and eggs ate lots of veg and still no weight loss. Spent last year paleo ish plus cross fitting .... And still no weight loss. Yes too much wine but at my wits end so here goes . Will be eating vegan maybe 6/7 and cutting out wine plus I am doing couch to 5k have pretty much cut out sugar ( except vino ) since jan ....

Happy with my body but need to decrease belly size and ensure no pre diabetes and lower cholesterol ( which was due to paleo I think)

Desperate to get healthy . Just turned 60 and want a long healthy life for my kids grand kids and :work clover: :clover: :clover: ...

Whew! I haven't been able to login for 3 days and I was beginning to panic! I don't want to lose my new friends and the support I get here. Tried the login a couple seconds ago and got in. I was afraid I had totally forgotten my username or password and everything. Did anyone else experience such problems? I tried at home and at work. Go figure!

We celebrated Memorial Day, a day honoring all American veterans who died giving service to our country. This is a national holiday and the unofficial beginning of summer. I planted flowers on my deck and enjoyed the spring sunshine and the sweet smell of honeysuckle growing in the woods. Nothing smells sweeter! Enjoyed cooking on the grill but feel like I didn't overdo it which is sooo easy to do!

I'm fasting today and have a mild headache but am drinking lots of water (which I loathe!) with lemon in it. Tonight I will have a can of light Progresso soup which is filling and good. Something to look forward to. Going to catch up on the Forums!...

Weight down a wee bit 3.5 pounds . Not eaten too much today . 1/2 Advogado for breakfast . Pitta bread and hummus lunch. Cauliflower and 1/2 cup of veg moussaka and 1/2 pitta for dinner . 3 chocs ( mom day leftovers ) 2 glasses of vino

Hmmmm not sure eating like this will work ? Fast day tomorrow so let's see

Still feeling unwell so aside from short walk haven't stepped up exercise . Feel like slapping myself :?:

Current Actual Weight: 72.3kg (11 stone 5 pounds)
Current Trend Weight: 73.2kg (11 stone 7 pounds)

Current Waist Size: 30.9 inches (down by 0.7 inches in last week)
Current Body Fat Percentage: 13.03% (down by 0.81% in last week)
Lowest Blood Pressure Reading: 132 over 83 (Pulse 55)

After reading the above figures, it would seem hard to believe that just a week ago, my weight had ballooned all the up to 11 stone 13 pounds as a result of my festive excesses. Because of that, I took immediate action by starting this week straight away with a 5:2 week, and fasting on Monday and Thursday. However, I knew that a large part of that weight gain would be due to water weight, and would disappear very quickly.

As I hadn't fasted at all over the festive period, I had expected last Monday's fasting day to be tougher than normal, but that was not the case in reality and I got through that without any problems. I even managed to lose a record amount of weight with that as my weight dropped all the...
