Yesterday, I had a rest day from the gym and so, I was hoping that this would bring some better blood pressure results. Nevertheless, yesterday was also a 16:8 day (which every day is now, including my fasting days). That means that I never eat anything before lunchtime, and also means that when I do some food shopping in the morning, I am doing so on an empty stomach.

Overall, yesterday was a fairly quiet day with some food shopping and a little bit of housework. For lunch, I ate a couple...

I do enjoy reading everyone's blogs! Find it helpful when going gets slow! Have taken off the three pounds gained from last week's feasting! Have started using a fit bit to push me to my 10000 steps now that the real winter temps have set in here in western states. Just wish I could jump start this 55 year old metabolism a bit more! People asking hubby if he is just naturally getting so thin or is he sick! Most 64 year olds should wish they looked this hot! We are three months away from our first year as fasters and know it has been the best gift we could have given ourselves! I will lose this last 8 pounds before then! Here is wishing all fellow fasters strong wills through the holidays!!

I thought I'd try and write a blog on the new forum. Just to show I can.

I am feeling OK. Yesterday and the day before were my work days in Devonport and I found that a bit hard. I was impatient with the children and had low tolerance for mucking around. It was funny to be in Devonport where my mum was in the nursing home and know that she wasn't there. Even though i rarely visited her on work days, I was always aware that I wasn't visiting. I found I couldn't drive down the road which I used to go down to visit her. I had to go by a different way.

Today I started to sort out her clothes. I found I fitted into her Echos. She loved those shoes. They are my new walking shoes. I am walking in my mother's shoes.

Fasted this week for the first time since Adelaide. It was great to get back into the saddle. I love the day after fasting and how good it feels to eat!

Current Trend Weight: 72.4kg (11 stone 5 pounds)

With the concerns about the weekend ahead, it was important to ensure that I was very careful about what I was eating yesterday especially since that was also the first feeding day after a fasting day. However, yesterday was also a rest day from all of my gym and fitness activities. However, I did do additional walking which means that I would have expected to have burned a few more calories than what I did on my other rest day on Tuesday.

I started off with a breakfast of two scrambled eggs with two slices of bacon, a glass of milk and an apple. I then did some food shopping and ate a small piece of Austrian cheese as a morning snack. My lunch then consisted of two slices of ham with some salad, a mug of chicken soup and a glass of hot soup. I then had that appointment about voluntary work and the outcome of that is that I will be starting a new role on Wednesday 4 December 2013, where...

 I would like to remove this blog entry, basically because I had mixed up topics with blogs. So now it's gone, but apparently it's impossible to remove text without replacing it by something new. Well, this is my new entry.
