Although I don't always lose weight every week I still feel good, and even better than I did 3 months ago when I started. Stated with Myfitnesspal last year, attained first target weight in 5 months, stayed there for 6 months but Xmas was the killer and weight(4 pounds) went back on. Decided I needed a new approach and had seeen MM Horizon program in November, downloaded book, started February and half a stone lighter, feeling great and on board for the rest of my life. I don't eat till the evening as I found breakfast seemed to tingle the hunger pangs later in the day. Plenty liquids and positive attitude. Loving my food on 'off' days and have to be careful sometimes. Keep positive, it works, everyone says I look better which is also another positive. Ladies take note - The only negative I have found is I will need a new wardrobe soon when I reach my ulitimate target.

Well I lost 2lbs in the first week of this diet which is pretty good I think. It's motivated me to keep going.
I quiet enjoy the fast days and have noticed a significant difference in how much I eat and what I eat on my non-fast days. I am a lot more conscious of what I decide to snack on or cook. Who knew that fruit had so many calories, maybe they are not that good for you after all! I used to snack quite a lot on fruit and always thought they would be really low calories but I guess not so I have more veg than fruit now.
A friend of mine has also done me a healthy eating plan for my non-fast days, low carb high protein to so I'm having all the right foods now and am upping my exercise levels (once I've shaken off this rotten cold and had a good nights sleep).
Overall I feel pretty good. I have been taking body measurements and they have also reduced since I started, so...

I just completed my 7th fast day yesterday. It was my first fast day that I didn't get a headache. I felt really good all day long. I was also experiencing some bloating and constipation in the past couple of weeks and that seems to be resolving. I'm feeling really good today so I hope my body has adjusted, and I'll be feeling good most days.
I think one of the reasons that I hadn't been feeling too great was the fact that I started the Fast Diet right after I'd been on another plan (Wheat Belly). I had been wheat-free since early January. Being on that diet for over 2 months, had me feeling quite unwell and I think some of that had not been resolved when I started the Fast Diet. As a vegetarian, being off wheat was quite difficult. That's why I am so enjoying the 5:2, because it is so simple.
So here's my current stats: three weeks in and I've lost 6.5 pounds and 1.5 inches off my weight. Since I'm feeling better, I'm hoping to really start exercising. So far I've only done...

I like being busy on a fast day, but circumsatances meant that I was at home for my Tuesday fast with a poorly doggie, and also there was no dog training class that night due to the snow. Being house-bound is very difficult for fasting - I did succumb in the end to the call of those 5 remaining haribos, and felt bad that I couldn't even go for a walk outside. But, all considered, only about 60 calories over, so it could've been worse!
