A note to myself - thought I should write it down as it's whizzing around my brain too often. I was undecided what goal weight to put in when I started 5:2. I'm no longer in my 20's but 54. I put in 120 (5ft 2in) but reckon I think that is too low. My body will tell me what's best.

Fasting today. Sooooooooo hungry! Trying to hang out til dinner, but this will be later than normal as OH has meeting and will be back late. Still no power, so we have to both eat at same time as can't reheat food easily.

Have kept busy enough today - walking the dogs, walking dad (!), hill climb walk, house cleaning - no vacuuming possible of course. Still dusting that I can do. Yuck.

Miserable weather, cold, tho is warming up later in the week. No doubt we will have power by then tho!

Ate far too much last night. Tummy showed the result!!

Weight: no data

staying away from home at the moment so won't be able to weigh in until Thurs morning but I am no optimistic. If you read yesterdays post, you will note that my binge food is quite similar to my binge alcohol. So I've changed my tune. Yesterday morning it seemed like a horrid prospect, but by yesterday evening I wasn't so bothered anymore. It was strange - I began to look forward to weekends of abstaining such as this weekend. I've ,made lots of plans to do things I enjoy that I usually never do on Sundays due to being hungover. My stomach was enough to remind me of the importance of changing my behaviour. I took a double dose of...

I've blown my Christmas goal out of the window by exceeding loss by 2lb, had major surgery, but now I'm a bit lost. Seriously lost. Having given myself the goal of just maintaining I feel really wierd. Is this what it's like when you reach your final goal. A bit like empty nest syndrome when your kids have grown up and left.
