There are thousands of pet stores online and various kinds of dog beds for sale in the market. You may be overwhelmed by those options out there. According to my experience, the most concerned issues on the dog beds are quality and duration.

Which kind to choose
Generally, there are three popular dog beds you can easily find: orthopedic dog beds, heated dog beds, and dog cots. Orthopedic dog beds are mostly said they are the better choice for old dogs or dogs have joints illness, because this kind of bed has subtle designed shape and high-quality wadding that won’t be too soft or too hard, which makes your dog comfortable and is supportive to the aching part. Then as the names indicates, heated dog beds can warm your dog up in the cold days. Normally this kind of bed is thinner than others, which may lessen the level of comfort, but you can put extra clothes on it to make it snug. The last one is dog c...

I have arrived back at 71.0kgs, my pre-holiday lowest weight. It's taken two weeks and I did wonder if I'd ever get here but hurrah!
Now in theory I have another stone to lose to be 'super svelte', and I shall of course carry on fasting, though reading that older ladies should be in the 25-27 BMI range for good health has rather confused the situation.
Should It stay or should it go?

Can't believe it's been 5 months since I started. Fast days are pretty easy now. I've settled into a routine of having 200ml 1% milk (80 kcal) for drinks, most of which goes in a cup of cocoa at bed time (20 kcal + sweetener). I have an oxo cube in boiling water in a soup bowl at lunchtime and a meal of less than 400 kcal at about 7pm. I feel fine all day and usually go to the gym in the afternoon. I try to make sure that my evening meal is a bit of a treat with plenty of veg e.g. king prawn stir fry or sea bass with veg, or sometimes an M&S fuller longer meal with a potion of frozen green beans if I don't want to cook.

My problem now is that I seem to get an energy slump in the afternoons on the day after a fast. It's a real effort to make myself get up and do anything and I feel pretty awful, sitting down whenever I get the chance.

I've definitely noticed that I can't eat as much as I used to. I don't eat between meals at all now either, I just don't feel like it. I'm drawn to...

Fast day. I'm some 6 pounds lighter than when I started about 3ish weeks ago. This will make room for me to carry nearly a gallon of water on an upcoming bicycle ride. My bicycle is receiving new parts this week -- and I too am feeling refreshed and new. New knowledge (to keep me light). New knowledge (to keep my bicycle from falling apart). Sharper thinking, more energy, more endurance. Not bad in exchange for feeling mild hunger for two days a week.
To all who are feeling discouraged:Don't get to focussed on the scale. You will have up days and down days. You will have days that you slip a little over your calorie limit. DO NOT GIVE UP. If you can do this for a year, all the little bumps in the road will become microscopic compared to your progress after faithfully sticking with this.
